My daughter is on the chubbier side and these work great. The slim fit ones get too long when we go to the next size. These are definitely true to size and look awesome! Thank you Boden!

My daughter is 48 inches tall and slender built. The waist fits great with the ajustable waist. I ordered the 9Y and hope to give her two seasons. The legs are long as expected, but will folded up for now. Overall, great jeans and fits her comfortably.

Like that these are not the super heavy winter denim. Nicer cut than most kids jeans. Bought 5Y for my 41" tall slim 4-year-old daughters. Expect length to last thru summer growth spurts with adjustable waist. I miss the stylish fabric inside the belt line from these jeans two years ago.

Ordered the darker wash in a size 3y for my petite 4 year old. Finally, found jeans that fit her nicely! These look adorable on her, and the adjustable waist is just right.

We bought these jeans last year and again this year. They fit better than any jean I have found for my daughter. They are definitely worth the higher price!!

I bought these for my tall almost 8 year old daughter as her size 9s were getting short. My daughter is quite thin and we really needed to cinch up the waist on her to get them to stay up--this makes for a bulky waist band. I find this problem with many pants I buy for her though so it's not unusual. I don't think the pants are "too large", I think they just supply a wide range of sizes by using the cinching waistband and that doesn't always look the best on my child. My only other slight disappointment is the wash on the jeans. The picture on the website makes them look a bit more "worn in". They have a very new, medium blue jean look (I bought the medium blue) which is okay for now--I'm not sure she would like them in a few years when she cares more about style and wants them to look more fatigued. Very well made, soft, comfortable.
