Got this for my skinny and somewhat petite 8 year old in size 9-10. It is a little wide and comes down to an inch past her knees. I think it's a good fit right now, but I expect it to shrink a little in the wash. The waistband ribbon cinches the waist a very small amount but it's a nice touch. She has the blue. It's a comfortable dress but nice enough for church or a wedding. I like that it has short sleeves and is not low cut, which is hard for slender girls to fill out.

This dress is totally cute on my almost 8 year old. she loves it. super soft fabric. pretty design and easy to wear! the only draw-back is the funky draw string... it cinches a little funny. but, i would buy it again. very cute on!
