When my daughter tried this on, my husband thought she had on a nightgown. That was my first clue that it looked a little like my grandmother's housecoat. It just doesn't have any kind of shape, and the arm hold are very large. The material is very thick and my daughter didn't like that. The smocking is cute, though.

This is a nice addition to our warm weather wardrobe. The print is vibrant and fresh. I also bought the jersey crop in the same print so I can match my 2 girls. The fabric is a little stiff, though, not as I had thought. Still comfy, but I wonder is jersey material might have been cooler if very hot weather.

Love this dress. Bought it for my 7 yr old in a size 7-8, which was a tad shorter than i expected but still so cute! Classic style with the smocking that i love--in a trendy print that Izzy loves made it a perfect choice. WIll buy more!

I love the pattern on this dress (I bought the blue background floral print) and the fabric is definately made to withstand heavy play. I took away one star because even though it is durable the fabric is a little too thick for my taste since I live in a perpetually sunny warm climate. It's still a well designed beautiful dress and would be especially suited to areas with a bit of chill or rain.

My daughter loves it because it's "fancy" and comfortable. We ordered a second one we liked the first one so much.

It's my daughter's ultimate "go-to" dress! She loves this dress more than anything else in her closet and I love it because it washes so well! I don't have to iron anything on it yet it's super cute paired with the kneehigh socks. The best decision I've made for her wardrobe!

My daughter is of an age where she is rebelling anything pink and girly. The blue dress with the pink stitching is perfect as she likes it without realising how feminine she looks in it! Empire line smocking is perfectly tailoured. A tad short (inch above the knee) but she is tall for her age.

This dress is everything that a little girl's dress should be- classic smocking, simple lines, and sweet colors. I look high and low for dresses and clothing that keep my 6 year old looking like a little girl- once again, Boden shows their classic and tasteful designs!

This dress is closer in color to the detail shot- a dark navy blue. Beautiful print and very substantial yet comfortable cotton... a great dress for my toddler that will last long enough to be passed on to her younger sister. Winner!
