I bought this dress for my daughter. She is only 3.5 years but I wanted to get it for later since it was on sale and very cute. I got it in size 9-10 yrs and it seems big. Granted I don't know what a 10 year old looks like but I am returning it for the smaller size. I love the fabric. Nice and heavy and so glad it has pockets!

Both my daughters love this dress, although my younger one will have to wait to wear hers, as we discovered it too late and they were all sold out in the smaller sizes. I ended up ordering her one she will grow into next year. I first ordered one for my older daughter only since they were already out of the size my younger daughter would wear, and she loved it so much, went back and ordered another color for her and the (next year) one for my little one. Please do look at sizing- we have better luck going up a size in Mini Boden for both my girls. They are "regular" fit (elder dtr) and "slim" fit (younger dtr), and both on the taller side. Thanks Boden, for making such a smart and fun, yet comfortable and practical dress!

I disagree with the other reviews. We are returning this dress. Nothing great about it. It's very basic and simple. The fabric is thin. It looks like poor quality.
You might get a similar dress at any popular retailers for a much better price.
