Great skirt. Really. Every woman should have a basic black and a charcoal grey in her wardrobe. So I bought both. The Boden version of this classic has a nice but subtile bit of trim at the waist, and is as chic as we've come to expect from Boden.

I really like this skirt. The material is a good weight (a bit lighter than last year's offerings) and it is cut very well. My only issue (and hence why only 4 stars) is that the length is a bit off. I am 5'6", and the skirt comes to right above my knee. Usually when Boden says knee length, I can order the regular, but with this skirt, I probably should have gone for the long. So, take that into account if you are thinking about buying this item.

Just what I was looking for, a flattering black wool skirt that was lined and was very versatile. I wear Boden size 4 in skirts and this is true to size. My only complaint is that I'm a bit disappointed in the material, I'd love to have seen a nice durable wool and I'm not convinced that this particular fabric will prove to be that durable. This has been a problem with a few Boden products I've purchased. Used to be the material was always high quality, now its not always the case. But, only time will tell. I'd still highly recommend the skirt1
