I bought this dress after it went on sale, and I got the tan color. When it arrived in the mail, it seemed rather itchy and not at all soft, but after I washed it the first time, it's much better. When it was warmer, I wore it with flats, and now that it's colder, I wear it with tights, boots, and a sweater. The color is definitely season-proof and very neutral, so it matches with lots of things. It does stretch throughout the day, but that doesn't bother me too much because it's not exactly the most form-fitting dress to begin with. My one warning is that if you're thinking that you'll be able to wear a belt with this dress, you are unfortunately wrong. The ruching at the top is too high to wear a belt over it, so it looks silly if you wear one underneath.

This is my second time to purchase from Boden. Last time I ordered a size 2 sweater with belle sleeves similar to this one. I returned it because I found the sweater too fitted and the sleeve opening binding.

I really like the relax style of this tunic. The sale price makes it a very attractive buy. I ordered a size 2 in truffle and size 4 in navy. I am 5'6" and 110 lbs. My regular American size is 00 - 0 or XS. Although the size 2 fits just right, again the sleeve opening is a bit tight. I like the size 4 better for a more comfortable and relaxed fit which looks more like the model in the picture, plus I expect this tunic may shrink a bit since it is of linen/cotton material, therefore, I am returning the size 2.

Both color are nice. The material is not too thin, depending on what you wear underneath, it does not always show so you may or may not need to wear a cami.

Wow, I couldn't believe how awful this dress/tunic was! It just wouldn't sit right on me, and when I went to ask my 12-year-old son what he thought, all he said was "are you wearing one of those bras with the front closure?"!! I couldn't return it fast enough.

This looked like a great basic and a great deal on sale, so I ordered two, truffle and clematis. The truffle is a nice mushroom-ish color that goes with lots of my scarves and ankle pants, but the clematis is brighter and colder than what I see on screen. It makes my pale, olive-toned, late 40's skin look very sallow, so back it goes. However, I'm very happy with the style, so will give the fennel a try. I ordered a 10 based on measurements, but am considering trying an 8. Unlike many Boden styles, the upper arms are NOT cut slim/snug. I would love to see this style in a washable velvet for winter. Btw, I don't feel the need for a camisole under the truffle or clematis, despite what some reviews have said.

I am a US 4P. I bought a 4 in navy, which turned out to be more like a deep blue rather than navy but a pretty color. I pulled it on the first day over a yellow Boden Broderie skirt from a past season and reaped nothing but compliments all day long. Sleek, slimming, classic, lightweight knit--what more could a woman want? I am buying another color today. You should, too.

The fabric is the best thing about this tunic, IMO. It is super light and perfect for late summer, early fall here in TN. The fit is nice but not fabulous. Because the fabric is so thin, I have to be careful about the pants - most of my jeans' top buttons "bulge" and show through the fabric which makes it look a bit strange. But if the pants are like Holliwood waist, this does not happen. I am keeping both navy and truffle since they were on sale and will go with lots of my smoother pants. I also like that these tops are not "busy" so can liven them up with scarves.

This shirt has a fantastic texture and fit. It's a perfect tunic fit for me to wear with cuffed skinny pants in the late summer and fall. I'm 5'10" 128 lbs and ordered the 4 which fits perfectly. Looking forward to wearing it with colorful scarves this fall.

This is part of my newly-found love for tunics and leggings. I got this on sale in Clematis (lavender for those of you who are familiar with regular color names). The color is really nice and I've ordered the truffle and blue. The fit works really well - doesn't look like I'm pregnant, even though a lot of items that gather in the front do. Yes, the fabric is sheer, but the fit is such that it would easily allow a cami or even undershirt underneath. This is neither baggy, nor boxy. I'm 5'5", 125 lbs, 34C and waist only slightly smaller than hips and 4R was great. It is a linen-cotton blend, so I do wonder whether it'll wrinkle. Some have commented that it's scratchy, but I think that will improve after washing.

For this price, just get it.

This tunic run on the smaller side. I am 5'7, around 140 and got it in 6, it fits good, hides my post pregnancies belly but I would order size up for more relaxed fit. I think length is great to wear with leggings or skinny jeans. French blue appears much darker on my screen (almost like navy) which is not.
Fabric is super thin, good for sumer to fall.
