This tank is really cute on. I got it in the navy and it is a really nice color. The design is nice and it fits well. You can wear a bra underneath without worrying about the straps showing. I just hope that the color doesn't fade in the wash. I have not had great success with my Boden purchases lately and I was so happy that this worked out.

I agree with many other reviewers - I wanted to love this top, and I did keep it because overall it was just so pretty, but the fit is far from perfect. I am tall and slightly pear-shaped with a small chest. I ordered my usual 8 and as others have said the top is very boxy and hangs a little short. I maybe should have sized down for a closer fit through the body, but I think it would be even shorter. I do love the look, the linen feels like a good quality, the arm holes are spot-on (not too tight and no bra poking through), but I don't love it enough to order other colors (which I had been planning to do).

Zips, Boden just loves them, even when they're not necessary and a garment can easily be pulled over your head. Can't you use them for tight-fitting dresses ONLY? They make everything else you use them on look cheap. This is an expensive fabric, linen. It's a loose cut and yet it has an unnecessary plastic zip, as do some of your dresses.

I thought I'd love this, and did at first glance, but there were 3 problems I just couldn't live with. First, my lace panel was sewn on crookedly. I kept tugging at the blouse, thinking it just wasn't laying right because it looked crooked in the mirror. When I took it off and measured, I found the lace panel to be 2" off-center. That's a deal-breaker right there, but this may have just been an unlucky fluke on my blouse. The second and third problems are going to be ubiquitous, and they are the horrible side zipper and the excess flare at the hips. I don't understand why Boden always puts side zippers on everything. This blouse went over my head easily without it, and the zip felt stiff, and puckered against my side when I tucked the top in. Hated it. And the stiff linen fabric flared out a bit too much at the hip for me. I would have taken out the zipper and lived with the flare because I love the fabric and style of this top, but the crooked lace panel made that impossible. Had to send it back.

I love this top! I bought it in the green, white and truffle and plan on keeping all three as they are a great complement to my summer wardrobe. The top can be dressed up or down so it is great for work or for a casual night out. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the top isn't long, but that is what I like about it (one note: I did size down from a US 6 to a US 4). Fitted across the bust with a slight flare through the waist it looks sharp with a fitted pair of pants, jeans, or skirt. Well done Boden!

I am surprised how great this top is. Received it yesterday (in Navy) and am wearing it to work today with a red skirt and low heels. Already received two compliments. I live where it is hot and humid 9 or 10 months of the year and this is perfect. Definitely going to get another color or two.
