I usually hate button-down tops because they never fit me right and make me look boxy. The fit on this top is fantastic. Mine did not have the pink ribbon running down the edge, which was disappointing, but I love the ribbon detail when I turn up the sleeves.

I'm so bummed! I ordered the blue shirt (Ink) and when I received it, it didn't have the pinkish ribbon that runs down the button placket. It makes for a very boring shirt. That was the whole reason for me buying the shirt - I loved the contrast in the front. The shirt I got has a ribbon, but it's the same shade as the shirt. So bummed.

This shirt confirms my love-hate affair with Boden sizes as in 4 and 6. All my woven shirts are 4s, some of which are so roomy that I could have bought a 2. (I am a US 4P and a 32B.) I ordered a 4 in this shirt in the blue. Although I can button it, I fear the shirt gapping and pulling when I sit. Also, I did press the shirt as it arrived wrinkled, and the fabric looks a bit shiny after ironing. The styling is super cute with the multi-colored ribbon trim on the cuffs and inside collar. I am going to return for a 6 and hope it will be in stock. This is a terrifc shirt to tuck into pencil skirts and pants. I have trouble with Boden sizes, 4 and 6, even though I consistently check the measurements posted. Every season I hope that the sizing issues will be rectified.

The short fits very nicely. Usually I have trouble with button downs gapping but it fits very well and my husband complimented me on the fit. I wish it was just a little longer so I could tuck it in but otherwise no complaints.
