I am a young college professor and am always looking for cute but professional clothes that are more interesting than your typical "business" wear. This blouse hits that mark exactly -- it is silky and soft, fits perfectly, and works well with jeans and a blazer or a pencil skirt. You can dress it up or down easily, and I love the little gold buttons down the front.

Sheer, well fitted, fun to wear

I like the fabric and the gathering at shoulders and sleeves, that the tight weave and the reinforced button placket kept it from gaping in front. The cut did not work for me, it was to wide in waist and too short in arm and body length and I'm about 5'5" 1/2 so don't consider myself tall. In size 4 the waist needed to be tapered and the arm sleeve opening was set in too far so that when you move your arms forward it pulls and restricts. It was too short to leave out or tuck in, kind of in between. Otherwise the navy was way darker than in photo, almost black. Could be a great blouse if it fit well.

Loved the look of this shirt online, but found it to be too baggy and loose in person. Beautiful fabric, though. Wish it had fit better. Alas, back it went.

I bought this shirt in two colors. The red pattern was much cuter than the blue. The blue was much darker than it looked in the catalogue.

This blouse has a soft, feminine look to go with tailored skirt/jacket. The fabric flows but is lightweight so it slides under a jacket and tucks in without bulk. I ordered the wrong size and had to re-order smaller, but I could tell it is cut to drape nicely from a properly-fitting shoulder. The washed grey leaves is lovely in person -- photo does not do it justice.

I returned this shirt in sage as I did not like the green shade in sage and the golden buttons. But I love the silk fabric and the elegant style.

I then bought it in navy. I simply fell love in it! The color is dark navy and looks great on my skin tone. Surprisingly, the golden buttons do not look shinny/cheap on navy. It looks perfect and smart for work or evenings.

I ordered this shirt in Ivory and it was not flattering on me at all. Too bad. I loved the gold buttons. I do wonder if another color would look better?

This is the perfect shirt. It has no collar but a lovely neckline, beautiful fabric and colors, looks great under a sweater or blazer. Can be tucked in all the way, partially, or not at all and still looks good. I felt very attractive in this shirt and my husband wants me to get more colors -- it's so classy and cut perfectly to cover everything but still have great lines. Will be getting this in more colors!
