After reading other reviews, I decided to take a chance and order this skirt anyway. Unfortunately, the other reviewers were right. While the skirt has some lovely prints & the fabric is nice, it has an awkward & frumpy fit to it. Thank goodness for free returns as this one is definitely going back!

As pretty as this looks on line, it is even prettier in person. The color, fabric and fit are all lovely.It is also a 3 season item : with a light top and sandles for summer, add a light cardigan for spring; boots and heavier sweater for fall. Very versitile. Took advantage of a generous Boden discount and got a great buy. I have received so many compliments when I've worn it that I would still feel great about this purchase at full price.

Beautiful color, design and great quality.
I think the "Boden US sizes" run a tad little smaller than the US sizes.
I got this skirt in 2R in cornflower blue. It was a little snug around the waist, so got it exchanged for a 4R, but since there were no more blues, I got a brown. The color (cornflower blue) was beautiful and was true to the online picture. The border on the skirt makes it look extra nice.

I expect I'll wear this comfortable skirt over and over. It's stylish without being constricting, easy to dress up or down, and perfect for spring and summer (I live in California). I particularly like the drape of the flared skirt. It's a bit large--at 5'6" and 150+ pounds, I would have thought a 12 would be snug, but if anything it's a little loose. But because of the design, looseness just means the skirt hangs a bit lower: no need to exchange.
