Great little skirt for running around. I like how it hangs - structured, not flimsy. I almost sent it back for the color, though. The ordered the pink and it is a bit childish looking. It's brighter than it appeared online. Still, am keeping it and would recommend it.

LOVE this skirt. So cute and comfortable in the summer. I am a skinny 5'7" 108# and purchased the 2P so it would hit right above the knee and not be too mumsy. The photos showed it at a kind of dowdy length and the 2P helped me avoid that. I am so glad it fit around the waist. The A line shape makes it very cool in the summer together with the light cotton. However thanks to the lining there is no need for a slip. Great with a t and can be slightly dressed up with cami/sweater. Have turned to this many times. The ruffles are charming and understated. I would get another but I am afraid the patterns may be too similar.

I love this skirt!The fabric is so soft,colors are beautiful and is very well made.I am upper size 8 and ordered the 10.fits nicely at the top of my hips.I wear it with a tighter solid scoop neck. Very flattering.I have more of a boyish figure and this skirt gives me the appearance of a more hourglass figure.Great for us ladies with smaller hips.Thank you Boden ,great design!

I like the nice narrow fit in the hip on this skirt, while waist is comfortable. I am 5'2" and have gotten into the habit now of ordering both the petite and regular sizes to try both, since I can never predict what will work for me. On this skirt, the proportions in the regular were much more flattering for me. Came just to knee length, while the petite looked like something that should have been in the Johnnie B line for teens. I have the Thyme Rosebud print, which I think is the most interesting of the choices and it looks good with a surprising number of colors: shades of gray, olive, white and aqua.

I liked the idea of this skirt, but it wasn't quite what I thought it would be. The cotton was a little too stiff; it would have been better in rayon, georgette, or something drapier. The waistband was a teeny bit big, but top tier was cut a little too straight for my hips so it was loose at the top, then too snug, then kind of flared at the second tier, so it wasn't flattering. The zipper didn't lay flat either. But the print was very pretty and the thyme rosebud went nicely with the ruffle tee in quail egg. For what it's worth, I'm 5'4" 132#, hourglass with round hips; I ordered the 8P. The length was good, right above the knee. This would work better on someone with straighter hips than me.

When I took this out of the bag, I was hopeful it would fit well because the fabric was great for summer. I'd been concerned that a lining would make it too heavy/hot, but the skirt is nicely lightweight. Unfortunately, the fit/construction of the skirt was not good. At the bottom of the side zipper, the fabric puckered out, making an odd bump on my left hip. I considered trying to order another one to see if it was just a problem with this particular item, but the pleats on the skirt were poorly placed - right at the widest spot on my hips, making the skirt puff out at the wrong spot and making my hips look wider than they are. I loved this skirt when I saw it in the preview & ordered it right away in the petite red roses. The
skirt was so short and the tiers made it rather full and the roses were a bright coral red so I ordered the blue in the Long. The tiers on this skirt fit me so strangely, they were lower than shown and not flattering. So, that went back as well. I might re-order the blue in the petite and wear white leggings, but I am not sure for the cost.

I was looking for a casual floral skirt that would look cute with sneakers or flat sandals on weekends and vacations. This was pretty and I thought the extra seaming detail around the upper thigh area would add interest. Instead it poofed funny and made me look hippy. Not what I was going for. I'm going to try the Everyday Jersey Skirt instead.

The fabric of this skirt is lovely and I really like the fact that it is lined. The style is very nice as well, but the fit seems off. I ordered my usual size 6 and I'm sending it back for an 8 to see how that goes. All my other size 6 Boden skirts still fit me just fine, so I'm pretty sure it's not me. If this skirt appeals to you, I recommend you think about sizing up for a more comfortable fit.
