Bought this skirt on sale in blue, but was a bit surprised when I tried it on. It was a snug fit even though I followed the garment measurements and bought a size 16. I should have sized up to an 18. But it was so pretty I'm keeping it and will wear it next summer.

I purchased this skirt in pewter and loved it immediately. It goes with nearly every top I own and has a very feminine, flattering fit. It has lovely detailing both on the outside and on the inside. However, the french knots have a tendency to wiggle loose after a few washes, so I find myself constantly fixing them. I love this skirt enough to put up with that bit of inconvenience, but if you have arthritis, or needlework just in't your thing, this skirt may not work for you.

I really liked the fabric and construction of the skirt.
The French Knot details seemed much more subtle in person than in the photos.
Unfortunately I will be returning it because the wide waistband meant that the fit was a bit off. I would recommend this for women who have a large difference between hip and waist measurement ONLY if they want to wear it low on the hip.
