This is just a great go to skirt. This is a clasic design that one can were for years. I got the navy; loved it so much went back and got the gray and black ones too. I'm 5'8" 145 and the 6L fit me perfectly. The skirt looks much better in person than in the pictures.

This is a really lovely skirt. The length is great and the fit is good. The a-line skirt provides a classic silhouette. I often have trouble with skirts because I have a small waist with larger hips, but this skirt in a 10 fits very well, though it sits slightly below my waist, but it's comfortable and looks nice. The weight is also good - I just wish I had skirt like this in black and khaki for warm weather! I also prefer longer skirts, so the mid-calf length of this skirt works really well.

Simple classic dualpurpose wool skirt--very happy with it but I had to return it for smaller size. Usually the Boden sizes are just right for me but whereas I am a trim 5' 5" & Boden size 8, with this skirt I definitely had to exchange it for a size 6. However, I love the skirt as I do all my Boden clothes. I am especially pleased that it is light weight wool.

This is a skirt of such exceptional value that I just purchased it again in a different color. It is very well made, 100% wool, comfortable, can be dressed up or down. And, it is also very, very warm. I love skirts, cannot stand pants and this will get me stylishly through the coming winter on the East Coast. Thank you Boden! This is a very versatile skirt that I will wear with boots and sweaters for a casual look, or with a pretty blouse for a dressier occasion. The material and tailoring are the usual excellent Bodenusa quality. I am 5'7 and 135 lbs. with an athletic build, and the size 6 fit me well, except that it's a little snug in the waist. Not tight enough to send back, though. Just my 55 yr old body growing thick in all the wrong places! The pockets are great, but then I wish every garment I own had pockets.
I am glad that Bodenusa has standardized American sizing now; makes it much easier for me to determine my size. Was always hit or miss with the British conversions.

This skirt looks fantastic with a great looking pair of boots. I'd been searching for a longer length for awhile as a change of pace from shorter hemlines, and this one works really well. Ordered the navy blue and love it. Pair it with a nice fitted top or slim sweater. I think this skirt is a lot of fun, worn right.
The wool is gorgeous and soft, with a decorative flat seam down the front of the skirt. Very subtle, as is the twill weave of the skirt. The top of the skirt comes up higher and does a great job of making my waist look small. It fit true to my normal Boden size. It's fully lined and beautifully constructed! Well worth it.

I'm a big fan of long, wool skirts and was excited about this one. But it doesn't really work. It's a bit too straight for my style. And the lines are very vertical- I can see why it is in denim because it reminds me of a denim skirt I have in the 70s. I guess I'm more of a flouncy skirt person that slim. I'm not wearing it, so I can't remember if there is a seam down the front or the style just makes it feel like it.
I like the pockets, they make a basic work item more useful.
I'll wear this a lot, but it won't be my favorite piece and I won't buy it in all colours.
