I was looking for a slightly more dressed up version of a denim skirt and this looked like a heavy chambray-like fabric. I received it and it was heavy, even heavier than expected, but it reminded me of burlap or upholstery fabric. Maybe if it was very starched, it would look cleaner, but coupled with an unflattering fit, I just look rumpled.

This skirt wrinkles easily, so if you need something to stand around and look cute in, rather that sitting in a chair all day, this your skirt! Not only will you look adorable, you can put your hands in your pockets as you pose! I was pleasantly surprised when I put my hands in my pockets as the lining was among the softest I had ever felt! It may seem strange to review the feel of the pockets but they feel absolutely sumptuous! The skirt is versatile in the navy (grey) color and will get a lot of wear!

This green color is just perfect for spring. I literally received a ton of compliments when I wore it.

Good fit, comfortable. Fine on its own, great with matching coat. Does wrinkle, but easy to iron and the texture and color of the fabric are worth the slight effort.

It's hard for me to say anything bad about Boden because I really love their clothes, but this one was a miss for me. I am petite, just under 5'3" and the skirt was too long. The navy has a denim look, which is just what I wanted, the kick pleat in front was very nice, lining is great, seems very well-constructed, but it was bulky. I ordered my usual Boden size and it was too big. I thought about trading down a size, but all the fabric in the waist just felt thick to me and I'm not sure a smaller size would have really streamlined the look enough. Sadly, it's going back. I think it you are taller and don't have much bulk around your middle, this could work great for you. It is a nice skirt and good value.

This skirt is great. It is comfortable - the fit is perfect. Looks nice with heels or flats. I purchased the design the model is wearing and I love it. There is some substance to the fabric and it is well-made. I have received several compliments.

This periwinkle-striped fabric is lovely, and I had no trouble ordering the correct size and length (the 6L started below my waist but stopped just at the knee -- a bit too conservative for me). But oh! the side seams! There's too much fabric where the pockets meet the side seams, which creates a bloated, bubbled look on my wide-hipped figure.

Unusual color combo & interesting weave. I had originally wanted the red combo but the pricing was better on this iris color & I was very pleased when I got the package. Worn it next day & my co-worker asked "new skirt?". Can see teaming it w/ many top options.
