I love the Boden tweeds. Great quality construction. Great wool tweed. My only wish is that the waist were a little smaller, but I can't size down or it won't fit in the hip. Order in the long for what I would consider a normal length.

I waited for a 4L to be available, and finally it was in the navy plaid. I am 5'2" and a 4P but I am past wearing mini-skirts. The skirt has a very nice body-conscious fit; if there is an A-shape, it is so slight that the skirt seems to be more straight in its cut, which is fattering. I wear my Boden merino ribbed sweater with this skirt and I tuck it in, finishing off with navy tights a light brown suede boots to pull out the beige in the plaid. It's all very nice together but the whole look is anchored by this well cut, quality skirt. Grab one if you can.

Classic wool skirt - great with sweaters and boots for a casual look, or with heels and a blazer for work. I wouldn't call it a mini, though. I'm 5'8" with a 34" inseam and the regular just skims the top of my knee. Not too short for a "woman of a certain age". The fit is quite roomy in the waist and hips. I'm usually a 12 or 14 in Boden, and this 12 spins around. I would have exchanged it for a smaller size, but now that it's on clearance the size options are limited.

I love this skirt. I am tall (5'9") and I bought the size 8. It hits at the perfect place on my leg to be work appropriate and is a bit loose in the waist. I like my skirts this way. It can be dressed down with a plain colored tee or a denim shirt. Love it with boots and leggings. It is lightweight, and the lining prevents all itchiness. All in all, I am well pleased. I have this skirt in the red and light plaid color. I highly recommend it.

This skirt was most attractive. The material was beautiful, and the skirt was well made. Unfortunately, it was too large for me. I sent it back, but since it was on sale, the smaller size was already sold out. This was my first Boden order so I have to determine how their sizes run. I used their sizing chart, but the skirt was just too large in the hips.

I have been looking for a navy plaid skirt. I like that the plaid is not the typical tartan design usually seen with navy skirts. The colors make the skirt versatile and the fact that it is a light weight wool means it does not add bulk to a plus-size person like me. The fact that I got it at half-price is a very big plus!

I had been looking for a good wool skirt, I bought the black skirt and it is great, it fits really nice and so comfortable. I am usually a 16-18 and I purchased the 16!

I love this skirt! It fits well and is very comfortable to wear. It doesn't have a waistband which adds to the comfort. I debated about getting a size smaller, but decided that I like the ever-so-slightly looser fit. You can wear it with leggings or dress it up. It is well made. I know that I will wear it often.

I bought this in both regular and long. The regular is a mini but definitely long enough to wear to work with tights; long makes it more like a classic knee-length pencil skirt. For context, I'm about 5'5". Classic, well-cut, perfect for work.
