This is typical amazing quality, that I know Boden for- and I'm not just saying that! Did I mention the lining? Thank you Mr. Boden! This is a great staple with a wonderful pop of color. I chose the sulfur color. People will notice you. Note that the cord is wide, if that is something that concerns you. Even the zippers are nice and sturdy. I took a chance that they would have my size and I waited until it went on sale. Nice to feel pretty AND get a deal!

This kilt is so well made. I also waited until this went on sale, like another reviewer. I don't always like to order on line, risking a good fit. However this is worth it. Yes, the cord is wide as it says in the description, but it's nice to shake up the wardrobe with something different and unexpected. I'm 5'4" and normally try to be careful of things that might give the illusion of being shorter. This is such a quality piece and I expect that it will last a good long time. I ordered the sulfur and am so pleased. Not ordinary...extraordinary!

I fell in love with this skirt as soon as I saw it on the catalog. I have waited patiently untill it is on sale to order the awesome green color. When I received the item, I loved the color; however, the corduroy fabric was very thick. I am a short person so thick, bulky fabrics make me look thicker and bulkier. If this skirt had been made with a softer corduroy, it would have been my favourite skirt.
This has been my problem with Boden. The color is good the design is good but mostly the texture and the type of the fabric are not chosen well.

This skirt is totally awesome. I usually do not write reviews unless I feel that something is exceptional. This skirt is just that, exceptional in fit (esp. for a curvy woman with 2 young kids) and exceptional in quality of fabric and color. I got the yellow skirt and it is fierce!

Beautiful silky cord kilt. I am usually between sizes (4/6) and sized down for this one. The 6 was too wide in the hips and bulky; the 4 was a bit snug when seated but looked much better. I know I don't need this item but its so pretty!

I ordered a 12R in navy, and it fit perfectly. It is a bit bulky, especially around the waist, which makes it difficult to find the right top to wear with it. If I wear a sweater untucked, as in the model photo, there are weird bumps under it. When I tuck it in, it makes me look big.
However, it's sooo comfy, like an old pair of slippers, that I still love it! It's just a bit of a challenge finding tops that work with it.

I love this kilt skirt for when I want to be sassy and comfortable. It is the perfect length - just above my knee. It is amazingly well made inside and out (it is lined!). The quality is top-notch, the fit is perfect, the style is fun and useful. I cannot find fault with it at all. I would love it have it in all colors, but it is often out of stock. I can see why! So don't hesitate; but it when it is available and you will thank me and Boden's later.
