These are exactly the basic black dress shoe I've wanted all winter, but sadly, I was right between the 36 and 37 (I'm normally a solid 37). Can't speak for the longevity, but it was classy, comfortable and a good heel height for someone who can't wear anything taller than 3 inches.

I ordered these shoes and was so happy when they came-they are beautiful. Great suede and nice heel height. But when I put them on, my poor toes! They pinched. Horribly. As much as it breaks my heart, I have to send them back. I wish they fit-they're beautiful.

I love these because as a stay at home mom I appreciate a comfortable shoe with style that isn't a flat. I walk a ton and this shoe has been great to trot around town in and also adds some flare to my "uniform" of jeans and flats. I bought both this shoe and the Sixties heel and both were too big - slipping off my feet and impossible to wear. My feet are a solid size 6 (never a 5 1/2) and I bought the 36 but it did not work for either shoe. I'm very disappointed as there is no smaller option in either shoe. I don't understand how there can't be a size 6 that works.
