The velvet and ribbon ties dress these up a bit, and they are really cute with jeans! The size may be a little small - may consider 1/2 size up, but if you go sockless, they are perfect. As with all Boden, they are well-made! The plimsolls never disappoint!

I have these in pink velvet from years past. I wear them more than I ever thought I would and I LOVE animal print--so with the price these were a no brainer. Ordered a 41 since the 40s I had before were narrow in the toe area. This has change. I can probably put my inserts in these now as they are big--probably should have gotten a 40, but they were not available. I usually wear an 8.5-9 shoe. They are a flat shoe and I cannot wear them for more than a couple of hours at a time--much like Converse.

So I have a love/hate relationship with my plimsolls...all 3 pair-LOL! I soooo adore the cool colors/patterns. I sooo despise the flat uncomfortable, can't stand too long side of them. I get compliments ALL the time when I wear them, but I have to be choosy, because they are definitely NOT for the mall, the zoo, running around the park with your kids, festivals, etc, etc. For the price these should feel better on my feet, but since the body must occasionally be sacrificed for fashion, I own 3 pair-LOL
