Comments about Boden Women Suede Panel Boots:

I was very happy with the look and ultimately the comfort level of these boots. The color was a little darker than what was indicated on the website -- they're more of a rich chocolate brown than the tawnier shade they appear to be, but they still match just about everything I planned to wear with them.

The more pressing issue is the fit -- the design is great but this is a pair of boots that could have really used a zipper. When I first pulled them on, it was tough to get my entire foot in them -- my heel kept getting stuck. As I've worn them in, the problem has gotten better but I'm worried that these shoes will wear out fast because of how roughly I have to treat them to get them on. I'm going to keep them but I probably wouldn't buy a pair of pull-on Boden boots again.

Some people complain they are too baggy, but I disagree. They don't have a zipper so just think about how loose they would need to be to get your foot in. I like that they are soft and slump a bit, but I like that they aren't as stiff as the zippered boots I've had.

My only thought is I usually wear a 9 1/2 and got the 41 which I probably could have gotten by with a 40.

Overall a Good buy!

I bought the women's 10.5 and i normally wear a 10-11. So disappointed, as they were enormously wide. the top part was double what it needed to be for my calf. The length was perfect in the shoe part but the width was insane. I tried adding an insert, but then it put pressure on my toes and the heel still was enormous. So sad, I dreamed of these boots and what I would wear them with!

These boots are so comfortable and I gets compliments on them everywhere I go. The only negative is that the boot straps come untucked from the sides so I am constantly tucking them back in. I may just cut them out and that will solve the problem. These boots are easy to slide on and off so I don't think I will miss them.

I was so excited to receive these boots today, but was quickly disappointed as I discovered I could not get my foot into the boots. I ordered the 39 (I'm an 8 1/2 U.S. shoe) and it was like the boots were two sizes to small. The heal was far to narrow to let my heal slide into the boot. Also the boot shaft was not as roomy as other reviewers had stated. I'm a size 12 U.S. athletic build gall, not enormous,not tiny.
It would be great if Boden could create beautiful boots like these with a shaft circumference closer to 17".
Sadly and with great disappointment I'm sending them back.

These boots are great quality leather. Because they're pull-on, the fit has to be perfect. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't able to get them on as they were too tight in the ankle. (The other style of boot I purchased in the same size had a zipper and I was able to get these on without trouble.)
Additionally I found the foot part of the boot to be a bit bulkier than expected or hoped.
The end result for me was to return these boots.

Returned. Bulky, big and wide, not the style I was after. Plus the boots I received were clearly previously returned since they didn't have that fresh look. Not that I care much but not the product I thought it would be. I got size 40 and it was ok but roomy. I usually wear size 9. Too loose on the back.

These boots are great for weekends and casual use. They were a little large around the foot for me and I found my foot sliding around a bit more than was comfortable. The quality is great and if the fit had been better I would keep them. Unfortunately I will be returning them.
