The boots were a good fit in the footbed. The ankle was a problem - the front of it really dug in. The look of the leather was cheap. I have 14-15 inch calves and these did fit good in the calf.

I have these boots in black and brown and they are both just ok. They look slightly better in the pictures, especially the brown. The color of the brown is not as rich as pictured, it's actually a dull brown color. The zipper makes the ankle area seem chunky where it should be more fitted. They are worth the sale price.

I have small calves (13 1/2") and since these adjust ...they fit so well over my skinny jeans. I loved my brown pair so much that I quickly ordered them in black...and seriously considering ordering them in taupe. Padded inside and a durable sole which allows you to wear them in the snow. The leather is such a nice quality and does have a nice leather smell to them. I cannot say enough about these boots...and when free ship is included..how can you go wrong?? Please know that I wouldn't wear them with a business suit. To me, they are a fun boot to be worn with a tunic sweater, a corduroy skirt, skinny jeans, or similar. They are as described, "Chunky" so if you are looking for a trim dress boot these might not be for you. Love them, love them, love them!!!

These boots looked great in the picture but when I put them on I didn't really care for the them. I loved the snug calf but the foot part bothered me. It was too clunky and the heel in the back bumped out. It just look weird, kind of like ice skates. I wanted to like these but they went back.
