The leather = butter. Super good looking and comfortable, with much better support in the arch and soles than is typical of women's footwear. Better with skirts than with most trousers, IMO. They do run a bit big -- I normally wear a 10, which is listed as a 42, but had to size down to 41. I don't know whether this is typical of Boden shoes and boots.

These boots are well made, a good design that is likely to be in style for a long time, and just darn cute. Funnily, my husband LOVES them and was the one who insisted I keep them. I was put off by how hard they are to get on the first time or two, but after a 4th wearing they are getting significantly more broken in and easier to put on. I can wear them for many hours comfortably. I have "brick" feet, so they are wide, tall, and flat. After breaking in, these boots fit my hard-to-fit feet well. I am happy with this purchase. :)

These boots are super cool and can be worn with almost any outfit! The only con is that your socks slide down, but that can be EASILY fixed. I love them and will definitely purchase other types of shoes from Boden!

Unfortunately these boots were way too big. Ordered my usual size 9, but they felt one or two sizes too large. Did not order a size down because the heel area especially large - I do have a narrow heel - so felt structure of this item wouldn't work for me in any event. Too bad.

Unfortunately, I returned these boots, because they look much different, than how the one, side-angle photo shows on the website. Yes, this is a quality item, but the toe box is very round and clunky and there is no support inside. It would help, if photos of footwear showed many views to give a more accurate idea of appearance and proportion. I wear an 8.5 in shoes and the 39 in this boot was the correct size.

Love these boots. I am a standard 38 shoe size, fairly narrow feet, but am returning these boots for a 39. In super skinny trouser socks my toe hit off the end, and they felt tight across the bridge of my foot. If I was wearing regular socks, fit would be especially questionable.

They will look great with jeans, skirts, boho dresses etc. Nice alternative to currently trending cowboy boots.

Exchanging for a size up AND buying the black in addition to the tan.

These boots are super gorgeous! I got the tan color and they looked expensive. Nice soft, great smelling leather. The only thing that bothered me was that the top opening was too big on me and just looked weird. I tried to like them but sent them back.

Great alternative style to the riding boot. Easily match it with skinny jeans or underneath boot cut jeans. The heel is more dressy so you can get away with it at work which makes it very versatile. Fits true to size and comfortable.

Finally these boots arrived..but darn..they were so darn hard to get on.. Finally I tried a spoon that I used as a shoehorn (thanks to a helpful review on these boots) However, once I got them on..I realize they are a bit too small. I normally wear a 7.5. I thought the size 37 would fit good...but my toe is right at the top of the boot..so i'm gonna return and get a 38. Hope the 38 is a perfect fit. I do love this boot though..I can just imagine all the cute outfits that i'm gonna wear them with. I'm already anticipating all the compliments that i know i'll get.
