I like these boots. They are very well made and comfortable. They run narrow but fit me. They have a leather bottom so will slide at first. They look nice with pants, but they are quite mannish in design. It doesn't bother me though as they are quite comfortable.

These are the best boots EVER. I will have them for years. My love affair with the boots started from the minute I opened the box. The rich leather smell hit my nose and I just knew they'd work. The finish color is a rich brown and goes with almost everything. I wear them with jeans, tights and skirts and hope to find a way to wear them in the southwest's very hot summers! Thank you Boden!

I was impressed with the quality of the leather. However, the shoe just wasn't flattering on me -- looked a bit masculine (I ordered the black). Would have preferred a slightly more pointed toe box. A good shoe, just not quite right for me.

I got this shoes on clearance. Since I don't have any shoes this style, so why not :) the fit is good. the front end of the shoe's different shade/color is specially neat. The bottom seems quite slippery on tile flooring. I am hoping that after could wears it will be just fine.

Great boot but the color is totally not as depicted, it is brown, not tan. I returned the first pair in hopes that the second pair would be a truer color. No such luck. In addition, the first pair I received had a problem with the color; the toe tips and the heel were stained a much darker color than the rest of the shoe/boot.

These boots are great. Very stylish and comfortable and seem to be very well made. I opened them when my in-laws were here and they really admired the stitching--reminded them of the "old days" (they are in their 80s).
Because they are lace-ups, these boots are not quick to get on/off, but that's hardly a con.
They are also less slippery than I thought they'd be, which is good.

Good work wear, comfortable making any outfit look smart. I do not understand previous reviews that say they are too big. I purchased two pairs just in case and as they were on sale I figured it was worth it. But of course the fit was the same as other Boden shoes I have got in the past so I sent the smaller size back. It is nice to get more interesting flat shoes as I am nearly 6'' and never really got the hang of wearing heels. I got the suede wing-tip brogues too!
