I'd been watching for this shirt to come back in stock FOREVER and when it did, I grabbed it up. The reason I gave it only 4 stars was because it was really creased when it arrived. And not like wadded in the package or folded excessivily. It was almost like it had gone through someone's wash and been hung to dry. I'm sure it was a return because I had to wait for it to come back in stock - that is no issue. But I wish Boden would have steamed it or something.

The large ruffles on the front are indeed very large. When I washed it, they were very mussed, so I took an iron to them (not creating any creases, just smoothing each ribbon of fabric) and now they are very...bold. Being a small person (5'3" 100lbs) I think that I'll be able to get away with this, but if you have a large chest that you don't want to increase in size, this might not be the shirt for you.

I love Boden white shirts. They are a bit pricey but I reach for them year after year.. even though its a humble white it has character when you can't find something else that fancies you.. in fact it is because I have other boden white shirts that brings me back to pick one of these up - even if they are pricey.. then again, I will pay a bit more for 100% cotton rather than synthetic mixes.. thanks boden!

I have several basic white shirts, but was looking for something with just a little bit extra to it. I purchased the shirt with the tuxedo-style pleats. It will be perfect to dress up basic jeans, but could also be worn in dressier situations. The cotton is substantial enough, but a little translucent; a cami underneath will fix any transparency issues. I'm short-waisted, so it is a little long in the torso, but not enough to be a problem or distraction. Overall, it was worth the backorder wait!

I wanted to love this shirt but the sleeves were too short for me. It's quite fitted and does not stretch so I'd recommend going up a size if you're between sizes. It definitely is prone to wrinkling so plan to either get out the iron or wear it as a casual top. For reference, I am 5'9", slender, 34A on top, and the size 6 fit me except for the sleeves. The bib style is adorable although the lace was thinner than I expected.

When I ordered the shirt, it wasn't available until DECEMBER! I was thrilled that it arrived in October.
It is a great twist on a classic white shirt. Looks nice on it's own and is not too bulky to wear under a cardigan or a fitted jacket. The length is long enough to tuck into a skirt or pants but still looks nice untucked with jeans.
I am a little concerned about laundering; hoping it won't shrink, yet will hold shape.
