I love these shorts. I have bought several pairs and they are very well made, and have held up to washing. I like these a bit better than last years, as the cuff is sewn all around the bottom of the shorts (last years just had a few stitches to hold the cuffs) I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the waist is slightly too big for me.

These were the only full priced item in my order and I'm so happy I got them! The lavender pair is gorgeous! They fit good. Slight give to them thanks to elastane. The inside of the garment is as pretty as the outside! They are nice and sturdy and heavier weight but can be dressed up for down. I'm 5'11" and they hit at a nice spot on my thighs...low enough to cover the yuck! Might have to grab another color!

These are terrific shorts. I wanted that brown pair so bad that I was willing to try the petite size (which is NOT my standard size) because the regulars were sold out. I am making this pair work, but I know that the regular size would have had the better length and rise for me. Hoping my size will come available again next spring!

These shorts are very high quality and beautifully made. My only complaint is that they feel a little bulky, almost too much fabric. Also, the material is a lot thicker than I had expected. But some people may like that. For a hot summer day, though, I probably won't be reaching for these.

Finally, a pair of shorts that fit me. I haven't bought shorts in years because usually shorts don't fit right in the thighs, but I took a chance on these and am so glad I did. These shorts fit me in the waist yet, allow room for my larger muscular thighs. The shorts are more fitted on my leg than the model but it's not unflattering. Thank you Boden!

Let me start by saying that I hate my legs and have not owned shorts in forever, truly, forever. But as the mother of two young boys, and as the weather is unavoidably hot now, I had to bite the bullet and face my fear of shorts head on.
After reading other reviews, I thought I might stand a chance with these shorts, and so ordered two pairs in 2P (navy and sherbet). I'm a classic pear shape and although they are incredibly tough to get over my hips (lots of wiggling and jiggling involved), they fit perfectly at my waist. My favorite part about them, however, is that they don't cling obnoxiously to my thighs and are actually a bit flattering. So much so that I wore the navy the one day and the sherbet the next (my husband was totally stunned!). They are the perfect length, too. Not too short, but not so long that they look matronly.
I would definitely recommend these shorts to someone who does not usually like shorts. I am now convinced they will be a staple of my summer wardrobe and am quite pleased with my discovery that not all shorts were created to emphasize my thighs!
