This dress is high quality sweater material. I got the two tone grey and was worried it might be boring (I really wanted the petrol but it wasn't in my size) but its not. The interesting rool/boat neck and design make it interesting, even in siply grey.

Not itchy. Warm and perfect to wear with tights in the winter. Quality sweater material. I was worried that the high waist made me look square but my husband assured me I looked great and I got lots of complements at work.

I often struggle with dresses as I'm busty and my tops are generally one size larger than my bottoms but this dress stretchs on the top to fit perfectly without looking too tight in the bust.

Length is modest, which I like for work.

My only complaint is that the 3/4 length sleave digs into my arms if positioned where it lays naturally. But I can pull it down to a lower position where it dosn't dig.

I love the colour combinations of this dress -- it was hard to choose one. I got the olive top with the subdued teal bottom and I'm very pleased. I wore it on a very cold day to an overheated work event and I was comfortable indoors and out. The wool is fine, very soft, and breathes. The dress fit my petite frame without being too clingy. I was a bit afraid it might be a bit too loose on me, but it may just be a smaller size is needed. Love details like the 60s style collar, the high waist, the subtle pleats to keep a shape without just being tight. Complimented by young hipsters and older, classy ladies at my work event. Boden, I love your vintage-inflected, elegant clothes!

Pretty dress and well made. I think this style is best on someone under 40 with minimal curves. Also, the description was a light merino wool, but I'd describe it as medium weight which maybe it has to be to hold its shape. Many interiors in NYC get overheated especially in colder months, and I felt in this I could get too warm with no option to remove something like you can a jacket. I liked it, but just not right for me overall.

Really love this dress! The fit is flattering on my slightly curvy figure and the fabric is not clingy at all (as some knit dresses tend to be). It seems to run a teensy bit larger than other Boden items I've tried, so those between sizes may want to choose the smaller option. The fabric is warm and appropriate for winter, spring, and fall.

the best thing about this dress is the style of the colorblock. The colors are beautiful together and they break at just the right spot.
Since I am very petite I was worried it might be too baggy on me, but it's perfect. I like the short cowl too, it's really different and not too warm as some higher necklines can be.
I got many many compliments on it and told at least 6 friends about how much I love Boden now. My first order came so beautifully packaged too which is different for web orders.

I adore this dress. I ordered the black, and it is so versatile. I can pair it with boots for going out, put my hair up in a bun and wear it to work, or jazz it up with some jewelry for a special occassion. The three quarter length sleeves help it span seasons, and the fit is flattering, even for someone like me, who just had a baby. The fabric is comfy and durable, though I would like to see the dress an inch or two shorter. I had been admiring this dress for some time, and I was thrilled when it went on sale. I scooped it up and may even order another color if there is one available in my size.

This dress is very comfortable and hangs perfectly with the higher waist to hide a little tummy. The weight of the sweater knit is perfect, not too thin, not too thick, so it doesn't show every lump and bump. The length is very work appropriate, comes just below my knees (I'm 5'4") in the regular length. It also washes beautifully, just lay flat to dry, and it's ready to go.

I wanted so badly to like this dress, because it reminded me of the colors of kimono I'd seen in Japan-- it's unusual to see that combination of yellow green with a turquoisey blue, and it brought a smile to my face. However, that was pretty much the only good thing about it. The material was extremely thin, so much so that (in addition to my being quite cold, which I wasn't thrilled with but I could have gotten over) the shape of my bra showed through and made it inappropriate for work. Sad! :(
