Great wear anywhere, go-to dress. Great quality. I wear it with a slip (and sometimes over a Hamptons shirt) in the winter and late fall with leggings, boots, a scarf and a blazer. I'm 140 lbs. and 5'8" - a 6 on top and an 8 on bottom. I usually wear 6 in Boden dresses, but because this is not an A-line, the 8 fits better, so I would recommend sizing based on your pants size. For taller women, I would also recommend selecting the tall for work purposes or for a little modesty. I have one in R and one in L and I wear the R for nights out or with leggings and the long for everything else. This dress gets lots of compliments and can be made to work for all seasons except daytime high summer.

Got the teal in my usual 10P. Beautiful color and will look great with dark tights. I'll be wearing this a lot to work as it is comfortable and fits our business casual environment. Then can switch to sandals for going out. It's a light jersey that is versatile for year-round wear; just needs a cardigan or light jacket for mild CA winters. But at the same time, it being a thin jersey is a drawback and why only 4 stars, as it is revealing in certain places. Will have to wear a slip or spanxwear with this one. But I LOVE the simplicity and effortless elegance. I just started buying Boden dresses in January, and this is now the 5th I have in this style.

I really wanted to love this dress but it revealed a few too many lumps and bumps for my taste. I'm sure with the right undergarments it would have been fine, but I think I would still have been a bit uncomfortable wearing it. I ordered my usual size, but I think the cut and fabric of the dress isn't terribly forgiving, especially for those of us with pear shapes.

Very cute dress that be work to work or for running errands. Unlike other reviews, I don't think it has a baggy fit at all. I ordered in a 4 becuase of the feedback and ended up having to exchange for my usual size (6). Love it!
