This is so the middle 1950's England and Scotland. The color is neutral, and I love the beautifully bright colored lining. It definitely gives you curves.
I can dress it up or down. The material has more weight than it looks like it has in the picture, but one looks very ladylike.

Because it said coatigan, I thought it might be knitted, but it iw a woven material.

I have an hourglass figure, and the 6P fits me like a glove. Every time I wear it, I get compliments- so glad I stalked this until it went on sale!

I fell in love with the name of the coat and the picture on the model. It's a beautiful garment but much darker than the pale oatmeal color pictured and not at all swishy. I'm petite so the stiff flared skirt made me feel really wide. I hope Boden will make one with a swishier fabric because I thought I'd hit pay dirt when I ordered this one.

I've ordered 4 versions of this coat in hopes to find one that is perfect fit & color. It's enormous on the bottom and make me look a lot wider than I am. It does fit my busty top very nicely.

This coat is so cute, but the waist it kind of high. I am very tall, so this coat did not work for me at all. I wish it would have... it is so cute!

The top of the coat fits true to size for me, the sleeve length is good, but the coat sticks out around my hips almost clownishly when buttoned and it is a bad look for someone who is heavier on bottom than top. This coat might work for someone without large hips. The navy color is nice and neutral and the lining is adorable.

This coat is the perfect look and weight for between seasons. I needed something to wear for the winter to spring transition and this coat is gorgeous with casual and work attire.

Should be called stiffy coatigan - and there is no soft swish at all - I looked like a wide clown in this (it need a true sweater fabric and it hangs nothing like the above photo in the Navy. It fit fine (size 12 and I am 5'6" with 36D chest - made me look wide and huge - retuned.

This coat has a classic tailored look, like something Sophia Loren would have worn. I am very curvy and a + size, so the fit-and-flare style is flattering on me. It is not for evryone, but if it works with your style and body shape, you will LOVE it, as I do. The greengage colorway is the color of split pea soup, which works great with my wardrobe and dark skin tone.
I just started wearing it yet have noticed a small amount of pilling. Also, it has lapels and dips down like a suit jacket with only three buttons. It may make layering over certain pieces a challenge but looks great over a simple single layer and looks especially dashing over a dress.

I LOVE IT!! I am petite 5' 3" 106# and the 2R fits me perfectly. There is room for a sweater under it and you can dress it up or down. I love the pockets and the fullness of the coat. It's a keeper at a great price.
