This coat-igan is exactly what I would design for spring and autumn travel: light, packable, stylish. It can go over jeans as well as over dress-up clothes, to the market or to the opera. The fabric is wonderful.

I wanted to love this coat. I bought both the ivory and navy. The coat is beautiful, seems well made, colors and lining were gorgeous. Sizing seemed way off. The sleeves were too long, the waist needs to be more tapered. Shoulders fit well, but otherwise this coat was too big, and it wasn't Swishy. It was stiff and ballooned out, not at all flattering on me. I am typically a 6 or 6P with Boden. I ordered the 6P. Sadly both went back. I really wanted to love this coat, but it made me look shorter and frumpy. :(

The weight of this coat is just perfect for spring or fall, and it hangs beautifully. The lining is great; always a Boden plus.

I loved this coat, the fabric and shape, but the size 10 was too tight for me, I've send it back to get a 12 and I'm hoping they still have it. I wear a lot of dresses and it will look great over them.

I wasn't going to order it after reading the reviews, but I'm glad I did! First, the material is a heavy weight cotton/viscose blend which allows the cost to retain the "swishy" or full skirt look without feeling or looking stiff. Second, it wears differently than shown on the model as it was above-knee length which lead me to style it as a suit jacket instead of an outer coat. Third, the lining color of gold-ish green with pink trim and wide ribbon around the waist on the navy coat was just beautiful. I'm thinking of getting another one.

This is a versatile coat that can be dressed up or down. It did seem a bit large and made the hip area look bigger than id like (with that said I ordered a 6 reg. versus my normal size of 4 L)

I got the petite a size larger than what I am in regular and it was an odd fit - too high on my waist and the skirt was too full so I looked less shapely. I returned to buy a regular instead - my hope is it will look the way it does in the photo...

This is so the middle 1950's England and Scotland. The color is neutral, and I love the beautifully bright colored lining. It definitely gives you curves.
I can dress it up or down. The material has more weight than it looks like it has in the picture, but one looks very ladylike.

Because it said coatigan, I thought it might be knitted, but it iw a woven material.

I have an hourglass figure, and the 6P fits me like a glove. Every time I wear it, I get compliments- so glad I stalked this until it went on sale!

I fell in love with the name of the coat and the picture on the model. It's a beautiful garment but much darker than the pale oatmeal color pictured and not at all swishy. I'm petite so the stiff flared skirt made me feel really wide. I hope Boden will make one with a swishier fabric because I thought I'd hit pay dirt when I ordered this one.
