I loved the metallic pants so much that I ordered 2 different sizes in my quest to have them. Size 12 was so tight(which i measured for according to garment measurements) and size 14 were huge. I even took them to my seamstress to alter, but she did not recommend after seeing them on me. Maybe if there was some strecth to the metallic pair they could have worked in the smaller size. Thankfully Boden accepts returns.

I really liked these pants in the catalog, but when I received them, the fit was not as expected. They fit nicely (or slightly roomy) thru my hips/but and upper thighs, but they tapered so thin below the knee that they were too tight around my calves. I do have muscular calves, but have never had any trouble fitting pants or crops. Unfortunately, these will have to go back. The proportions are just wrong for me.

The fit is perfect in the long, size 12s for my tall, curvy frame. I bought the ruby patterned crops and the design is very flattering and chic. Sometimes patterns can add "ton-age" but not these!

Really wanted these pants to fit as the fabric and sewing quality was beautiful. The fit, however, was not. Tried in an 8L first and it fit in the hips, thigh and butt, was slightly big in the waist but around the calves was so tight, it was awful. Tried a 10L and it barely fit around the calf muscle and was huge everywhere else. If you have no calf muscles and are the "modern" shape of barely any hips and no waist, these pants would work great. If you have a waist, hips and calf muscles I would not recommend. I am 5'11 and 155 lbs. I have muscular but not gigantic calfs (i.e. I don't have to get special boots to fit around my legs)and my hips are larger than my waist. People generally describe me as thin or slim but I have hips and thighs.

Received tons of compliments! I am 5'11' and I bought the Navy Spot in L which fit right above the ankle. These pants need to be a little snug when you first put them on since they will stretch out to a perfect fit. Look great with a blouse or a tee. I will be buying more!

I ordered these in the Pink Tile and was so happy with the print when they arrived. The photo does not do the print justice-its very beautiful in person! I am 5'6" and 130 with an athletic build and usually wear a 4 in Boden but the 4L was too small overall. A 6L was perfect for my height and build. Now I'm trying to decide what color to order NEXT!

I haven't worn these pants out and about yet, but they seem to be perfect: great fit, nice fabric, versatile length, nice color (navy - on the dark side) that will go with lots of things in my closet. I ordered my usual size of 6 and they fit fine.

These trousers fit so well that I bought them in three colors. They're so versatile and the colors are gorgeous- can be dressed up or down. They are by far my favorite purchase of the season.

I purchased these having loved and worn the wool cropped trousers to death in the fall and winter, hoping the fit would be similar. The fit on these is just odd. I wear a US 4 in the wool trousers and the same size was way too big in the waist on these. The oddest thing was the crotch - it is cut low. And now that I look at the pictures on the web site - the lavender and the brown ones, you can see it. There are all manner of odd bunches and folds. The heavier weave versions probably don't have this issue, but I ordered the cotton.

I went down a size for a sleeker fit and as well as going for the long version, so ordinarily I'm an 8 (UK 12) in Boden, the 6L was the best fit. Perfect--very Laura Petrie (nostalgic 60s TV).
