the best thing about these pants is they are not too snug on my thighs, but they are way too big on my waist. i have a very 'curvy' figure so pant shopping is tough. I'll keep them, but have to take them to the tailor

These cords are so different and great sturdy fabric that I bought them in almost every color! They do add some inches because the fabric is a little bulky but overall they are just so unique that I'm keeping all the pairs I ordered. I do really wish they had no back pockets and this is a common complaint of mine with boden's pants.

I love cords that aren't just straight-leg-jeans-style, and so bought these pants on sale at the end of last year (March, perhaps?) I didn't wear them till this fall, and got so excited about how they fit, that I bought another pair in another color this fall.
But after a few washes of the first pair (like 3?), well after the second pair were on their way, I began to notice a lot of give in the fabric. It's true--these are really really soft, and when I wear them, it's like wearing pyjamas, very comfortable. That said, they've given a bit big, as well as softened, and I find that I suddenly have to take them in: the original fabric, which had been a bit structured in a nice way, has with washings, become too loose, and I feel a bit like I'm wading in the pants (and as it is, I'm usually a 10, so I bought an 8L, and now wish I'd bought a 6L). I'm suddenly finding large pockets of cold air in my pants this winter (ok, just in the thighs ;) though the butt has given out, too.) And the model in the picture is in the snow! Whereas I am not, but I bought them cause I wanted something slightly heavier for winter, and well, now I'm thinking these pants are good only for fall...
I do love Boden, and will still buy your clothes, but I do recommend your washing the clothes, and having live models wear them around a bit! That said, they're super soft. Guess you can't have it both ways.

I'm new to Boden but I saw these cords on-line and really liked the look of them. I ordered two pairs -- black and grey. They fit great, are really cute and comfortable. they are also true to size. Haven't washed them yet so I don't know about that. I do love them and am so happy I have them. My husband complimented me on them!

I got these pants in Mercury, and they are a lovely shade of gray - not too light or too dark, and with a genuine, true fit. Don't think I've ever had a nicer pair of cords! They work well for the office, dressed up with a cute cardigan, or with a fun hoody or special Henley/tee for casual wear or getting together with friends. Highly recommend them - if you like cords, you'll love these!
