I really wanted to like this dress, however I did not like either of the colors. Both were very "blah." The khaki passion was mostly a drab olive. The prune passion had a brown base with an ugly shade of pink flowers. The dress was super comfy and the material was great, but I had to return both.

Ok so I haven't actually worn this out and about yet but trying it on was delicious! I am 5'4" and the 2 regular fit perfect - came right to my ankle so that flats or sandals would still show. Could also wear heels and it wouldn't look weird. I am 23 weeks pregnant (with my second and much bigger in the belly this time around) and I definitely think it will look just fine all the way to the end. I plan to wear it out with nicer shoes or even to work with a little cropped summer sweater or denim jacket over it. Super nice fabric, as always with Boden, and the print is really fun (got the greens/blues one). I think it'll work for post-pregnancy too.

Great maternity and post maternity dress. Would work for casual event - such as summer casual outdoor event. I was hoping it might work as guest wear to a wedding but fabric not dressy enough for such an event. I may wear to upcoming bridal shower and it may work but the fabric is casual although of great quality.
I wish had same style in dressier fabric and in solid color
ps. i'm not pregnant currently and it works fine - my husband liked it on me a lot and thought it hid my post baby weight well without necessarily making me look pregnant. would have been an awesome maternity dress and good post baby dress for folks that are not quite fully in shape depending on how they carry their weight. mine is largely in hips.

I'm not even pregnant but I ordered this dress because it looked like it would be cool and comfortable while also being reasonably modest. I washed if and it shrunk about 3 inches which didn't surprise me as Boden knits often shrink. (I have no patience for their high maintenance washing instructions so I just throw things in the washer and dryer.) Now it's too short to wear as a maxi so I'll have it shortened and wear it as a short dress or tunic top, which is fine with me.

I ordered this not being sure I was going to keep it. However, as soon as I tried it on, I felt so comfortable in it. Even my husband looked at me and the first comments was, "Wow, it looks really comforatable." Then I knew it was a keeper. I've gotten quite a lot of compliments also. It may be a bit pricey, but certainly worth it.
Cons: I wear a cross-shoulder bag and noticed that on one side of the dress, it's starting to pill a bit. Not noticeable, but certainly it's there. Also, the length is not super-long to go below the ankles.

I couldn't believe how many compliments I received wearing this dress, im actually not that crazy about it. I got the navy and the greenish print. I will say that they are extremely flattering. I have worn the navy one, and I want so badly to wear the print one, my husband was wild about it, but it's just not really my style. It is very low cut, and like I said, looks great, but I don't generally (okay, ever) wear v necks, and I flip scoop necks around to make them higher. Otherwise, I would order this in every color! Order a size down.

Expensive but definitely worth it--SO comfortable and flattering, and very well made. The navy version can be dressed up with heels for a night out or dressed down with flip flops for the beach. It would even work post-baby! I just wish it came in more solid colors.

I loved this dress so much (blue printed design) that I bought a second one (navy blue). I sized down one size (normally wear a 6 in tops & pants & got a 4) -- I am glad I did, perfect fit (am 22 weeks along but this dress will continue to fit througout pregnancy with a lot of stretch room.) The best part about it is the length. I am only 5'2 and was worried that the dress would be too long and I would have to hem it (I like to wear it with flip flops but could also wear 1 inch heels to dress it up) but the length is perfect. This dress is great for dressing up or down & super comfy & cute.
