I ordered this sweater three times in 3 sizes.
I am normaly a 8-10 in Boden blouses bc I have a 34DD chest .. the 8 was to big; the 6 was to big and then I tired a 2 and it fit beautifully.
The color of the Neptune looks great with brown hair; brown eyes and olivey complexion!
It is short and boxy but other reviewers mentioned that. I did think it has a funny smell and hung it outside for two days.. But I love this sweater!

I love this sweater. So much that I bought a second. I live in a cold climate and it's nice to have a sweater to layer under when the cold winds blow. It's great with a pair of cords or jeans or to dress up with a pair of boots and a skirt.

I'm generally a size 16 in most major brands that offer it, but I sized down to the 14 and it was still absolutely swimming on me. I wanted to love the sweater, it's that sort of wearable, everyday winter weekend piece you need, but can't find. I liked 3 of the colors - I had ordered two to decide. But the sweater was much too oversized for me.
Overly generous sizes don't flatter vanity - they just confuse. I'm fine with ordering a 16 or an 18, but I know I'm not even close to a 12.

The sweater is a boxy cut which I like on my boyish athletic figure. I normally wear a 6 to 8 depending... I got this in an 8 and i like the looseness. Quality and fabric is really lovely. Color plum is rich. Playful look but not sloppy at all. Going to order another and take advantage of the sale price!

I took the advice of other reviews and ordered down a size. Boden sizes seem to run a bit generous from other retailers, so this worked out to 2 sizes down from my size at any other store. But! It paid off. The sweater is loose but not too boxy, and it's so cozy I'm having to talk myself out of wearing it more than once a week. It's also very soft - softer than you would expect for wool.

I only keep what I love, and I'm keeping this. Still...I first tried this in a size 8, Mallard. Loved the color but the sweater was way too big an boxy. I am tall, pear shaped, thin, long waisted, small chested. Usually wear an 8 in dresses, 8-10 in blouses. Reordered in a size 4 and I'm keeping it, but wonder if I shouldn't have tried a 2...The sleeves on the 4 are just fine on my long arms. The sweater, meant to be short, falls just about right, just above my hip bones, but the main body of the sweater is still a little too bulky. Still the color is so unique and incredible, and the quality and feel is so nice, I am keeping it! I will wear it to work-- with a red dotted white blouse. And I will wear it for play. I avoided this sweater early in the season based on the "boxey" reviews it was getting. Then I realized that this is a *new look* and decided to try it...and I LOVE IT! I ordered my usual shirt size (US4) and wore it with a slim fitting turtleneck underneath. It hangs beautifully and is just what I was hoping for. This is a casual sweater and fits that bill perfectly.
(I loved this sweater so much I was hoping to see a similar one this Spring in cotton. But alas, it looks like the only thing with a similar fit/look is the slubby spring sweatshirt, whose colors do not excite me enough to buy.)
