I am normally a size 4 in Boden shirts, and a size 6 in Boden cardigans and pullover sweaters. I must thank the other reviewers who suggested sizing up! I'm so glad I did. I ordered the size 8 in pretty Clover Melange and the color is very versatile and the size is perfect for layering. I own the "Essential Shirt" with the blue/purple dots (in a size 4) and this sweater (in the size 8) works beautifully over it, with the colorful shirt sleeves peeking out at the wrists. BTW, the sweater sleeves feel a little long to me but I rolled them up a bit to highlight the shirt underneath. I look forward to wearing it on it's own as well. It's not too big for me in the size 8 on it's own so it can work nicely paired with a pretty scarf or necklace too. The sweater is very soft and I wish I had the budget to order a few more colors! Though I must say this is reasonably priced on sale. I would recommend this sweater highly!

I got the cranberry one when it went on sale and LOVE the color. It is this festive red that would be good from Thanksgiving to Valentines. After reading other reviews, I sized up 2 sizes and got a 6 (I normally wear a 2). The length turned out perfect. Before wash, it was a little too roomy around the chest. After I washed it in regular cycle, and fluffed it in the dryer on low for 5 minutes, it shrunk just enough that the fit is now perfect and the length of the sweater and the sleeves still very good. Also, it became fluffier after wash. However, the style is very simple. Still trying to see how I could dress it up.

This is my first cashmere sweater from Boden, and not knowing what to expect. They got my order wrong initially, but it was corrected about 3 weeks later, so no harm there. I ordered the yellow color, and it's more greenish, not as bright as the color show on the monitor, I can accept that as I want a brighter color anyway. Fit is good, and bit loose, since I order a larger size 4 than the usual 2.

Having previously said that I wanted more but funds wouldn't allow I succumbed to the luxury of this jumper and got another ( 2 actually - shhh!)What I love about this jumper is that is really doesn't pill which is so nice - must be the long fibres. I have had a little under the arm but not much to speak of. I can see where others have said this is short and although I didn't notice it in the Heather one I notice it more in this Sulphur one;rising a little at the waist when I raise my arms. I don't know if I notice it more because of the colour or because I was pulling it down a couple of times, it may have been that I was wearing smoother trousers instead of jeans. Talking of colour the only reason I gave this four stars is because the colour is not the vibrant yellow one sees on the screen but some sort of greeny yellow / yellowy green. Look up those two colours in a crayola box and you'll get a better idea of the colour of this jumper. I should have realised as I have had jumpers in this "Sulphur" colour before. I guess the colour "Bile" doesn't sound quite so appealing but closer resembles the colour of this jumper. Clearly it wasn't that bad as I kept it for the the style, comfort and pop of colour but veering on the green hue as oppossed to the yellow.

I bought this sweater to wear to work over button-down shirts. I normally wear a 6, but sized up to ensure a comfortable fit as a second layer. I already purchased the cashmere cardigan in the fall and have enjoyed it very much. The sweater is very soft and cozy. It is a classic, versatile piece that I hope will last over the years! (There is some pilling that occurs in the armpit area; that's normal, I guess.)

This sweater is so comfortable (one size larger than usual) that I want to wear it everyday. I have worn it with tee shirts underneath, paired with jeans, cords and skirts. I have worn it around the house and to church and so many times that it is totally worth the price (esp on sale) and this is my third one. I have hand-washed in woolsoap and laid flat to dry and it dryed in a few hours and looked new. Very little pilling too makes this a great staple.

I love the feel of this elegant cashmere sweater. But the fit was all wrong for me. The sleeves and body were short. I wear a size small (6) in all things Boden. The sweater fit fine across the body, but stopped too short. I would have sized up if this were the only problem. I did not care for the rounded shape of the cuffs and hem. Seems the shape should have been more contemporary for this caliber sweater.
