I loved this dress, but the usual 6 was too snug. Having said that, I can see how this dress would have been a staple in my closet: the waist is well defined but not uncomfortable, the length is nice, the color (purple) is saturated. But it's going back!

I took my usual 2R with this dress and it fits beautifully. I am 5'2 and 98 lbs, petite and slim. The fabric has a nice stretch though. I love the royal purple color. it is a deep, rich color. The style is very classic, with fitted top and pencil skirt, but the neckline and bow add some interesting details. The bow lies very flat so don't worry about it adding bulk. Overall, highly recommend this for work and for a night out!

This heavier ponte jersey is absolutely brilliant, covering areas that I find a bit too flabby on myself. I have received countless compliments while wearing this dress. I have a black one in 12L, which is great; I wanted a second one but there was only a 14L left and it was cut too ample in the bust for me, so it went back. The 12L, my usual Boden size, is quite slimming on me (I have a slight belly, though I am not overweight at 6' tall). Boden please make more dresses with this cut and fabric again in other colors. I like bright colors here and there, but end up most comfortable with darker neutrals. How about eggplant, puple, or a dark teal in this design?

I knew as soon as I opened the package that this wasn't going to work for me. It was very much purple (it had looked more like a deep blue online). The fit was off for me too, but even if it had fit perfectly, I would not have kept it due to the color.
