I love this dress - I wore it to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding this past June. It has a separate spaghetti strap slip, included, that you wear underneath. I ordered the grey floral which was stunning on me (I'm very fair-skinned and some prints overwhelm me, but not this one). The print has almost a 40s retro-feel to it: I played that up with some thick-heeled Jill Sander pumps and got a lot of compliments.

I am a 36DD, and the pleating at the neck allowed me to go with an 8, which was good because the 10 had more room in the body than I needed (I'm always balancing bust = 10 and hips = 8 in Boden). The slip in the 8 was sprayed on me at the bust line, but it did not matter as it is not visible with the dress on.

If I worked, I'd wear this there with a cardigan or a jacket - very versatile dress.

I ordered this dress in 10L - I'm 5'-10" and typically wear a 10-12. It was swimming on me. The pattern was really cute, but the dress was easily three sizes too large and hit way below the knee. It was very dowdy. I'm disappointed.

I usually wear a 6L in Boden dresses but, based on the comments that it ran long, I also ordered a 6R and I am glad I did.

There wasn't much difference between the body of either dress (dart, waist position, etc.), just a lower hem. Inner slip was not tight on me but was more fitted than the dress. The L fell just below my knees and the R was just above.

I like the higher hem better so will keep that one. For reference, I am 5'8" and 145 lbs.

I cover AZ for work, but live in CA, and was looking for lighter material dresses for summer. I almost didn't order this, but finally decided to and am glad I did! I am 5'10" and hourglass shape (36,27,37). Without the tie belt it wouldn't fit well, but with it, my waist is defined and it is extremely flattering and comfortable. I ordered the stone feathers and it is perfect for summer. I ordered a 6L - it comes right below my knee. I would have preferred it right at my knee, but the 6R was 3" shorter. Though now that I have it, it is very classy so might not tailor it. I love it!

I am a normal size 10 and like knee length dresses. I ordered the Mercury Primrose Hill color in both size 10L and 8L. Both I returned/exchanged for a 6L. This is how off the sizes are.The 6L was very long. About 2" below my knee and I am 5'7". The slip that is sewn into the dress was very tight across my bust line, (34B) so if I had kept this, I would have needed to cut out the slip and also hem it and for nearly $100.00, along with actually seeing this print, which is very busy on a gray background, I returned this size too. Not a fan.

I bought this in blue feathers and love it. It is comfortable and has a tie around the waist to adjust how you want it to hang. I wear it to work and get lots of compliments. Great for warm summer days.

This dress is so pretty. I am 5'7" and 130 lbs with a large chest. I ordered a size 6 & it fit perfect. The print is beautiful!

Unfortunately, this was HUGE on me (which was actually an ego-boost, as it was in my correct size). I really was swimming in it. The fabric and print were both lovely, but I had to return it, and was unable to get the same print in my size.

The dress is wonderful - however the slip was a little tight through the bust, not the dress, just the slip - so I would have liked a little looser slip

Love the style and fabric print, but it's too loose. The slip is slightly too tight. I'm keeping it, but I wouldn't buy it again.
