This was a lovely dress-the fabric, the colors, the lining. It was very unflattering on me though. Small in the bust and large from there down. Not a nice silhouette, especially since it's not a flowy dress.

this dress deserves 5stars, quality, color, fabric, it just didn't work for me, if you are a pear shape it probably would work great. I am an hourglass shape, 5'8", 148 lb., and I ordered size 4L, L it was too long for me, below knee, I like above or at, I could have reordered it in R, but size from waist down was almost perfect, little ROOMY, but not bad, but it was super tight in shoulders, so 6 would be too roomy in hips and good in shoulders/chest I guess, some reviews are saying that sizing is odd I agree. It is beautifully made, not for me tho. sad.

I am 5'10" with measurements 36, 29, 39 - an exact 8 (tall) on the Boden size chart. However, this dress was so tight in the bust that I could not move my shoulders or breathe comfortably, and it was simultaneously too large in the hips. Even though I ordered the tall, the darts above the butt were so high it looked like my butt was hanging too low by many inches. With the bottom hem below my knee cap, the whole shape just looked weird. The fit was not wearable.

I am between a 4 and a 6, and I had to size up to a 6 because the 4 was way too tight in the hips. (For reference, I am 5'10", 140 lbs, and a 34A.) The 6, unfortunately, will have to be tailored, becuase although the bodice fits beautifully-- and is very flattering-- the 6 is too *big* in the hips. Oh, well. Hopefully my tailor can work some magic. Beautiful color, though (I love both the blue and the spice), and the length was just right.

This dress looks great on the hanger - stylish design, great color combination, and I also love the luxurious lining in a contrasting color.

But. The fit is so strange - it was tight in the hips and extraordinarily loose in the waist/upper abdomen/back areas. The darts were misplaced & insufficiently darted. Who is shaped like that?

I wanted it to fit well, and even considered bringing it to a tailor to make modifications, but it would need too much work. It fit so differently than all other Boden pieces I've ordered - very surprising & disappointing.

The fabric of this dress is nice and the details are well done, and the red/pink color is gorgeous. However, the piping did not reach to the bottom of my bust (or even close) and the "hips" part was about 6 inches above my hips and looked ridiculous. I am long waisted and can't wear every dress for that reason, but this one seems to have a pronounced short waist.

This dress (in color Spice) was just as beautiful in person as it was online, so I was really excited to have it arrive on my doorstep. I already have several Boden dresses in size 4 that all fit perfectly and I was hoping to add this one to my line-up-- no such luck. This one was too tight in the hips and just looked way too hoochie on the booty, so back it goes. I am exchanging it for the next size up and keeping my fingers crossed that it fits.

I am 5'4" and a slim athletic build. My weight bounces between 111 and 115lbs. I ordered this in a 4P. Being 5'4" I sometimes order petite and sometimes regular. This was a time I was glad I ordered Petite. It falls right at my knee like the model. I'm glad I got the size 4. (I go between a 2 and 4.) My chest is a B and I don't think the size 2 chest would have fit. It's a tricky dress to get on! :-) but once it's on, it looks amazing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it is tricky getting on and off. Otherwise, it's perfect. I ordered it is black and it will be perfect anytime I need a black dress.

I bought this dress for a wedding. Beautiful for spring. True to size. My only complaint is that it's a little low cut for my tastes. As usual, the quality is superb.
