I just love the fun retro-style prints of this dress. I am surprised that so many others had trouble with the fit, although I do agree this runs very large. Try going down two sizes from your usual. Once I sized down I found that this fit very well through the chest area. It was maybe a bit less fitted through the waist than I prefer but not in an unflattering way. I bought two different prints and look forward to wearing them on our next beach vacation!

This dress was huge. I am typically a straight size 4 in Boden but having read the other reviews for this dress, I sized down to a 2. I was dubious that a 2 would fit, but when the dress arrived, it was still HUGE. The bodice had substantial extra room in it, and the dress was loose and rather shapeless all the way down. I was quite disappointed as I had been eyeing this dress for some time and it looked like it would be such a nice, easy summer dress, but instead it looked like a sack on me.
On the plus side, the pattern was just as cute as it had looked online.

I loved this print (the blue as shown in the pic), but my normal boden size 8 was way too big! (potato-sack like, actually)... Thankfully, I had already ordered a 6 because I had read other reviews... It fits much better, but not as cute as on the model.. I will keep it and wear to work with a sweater over, or out to dinner with the hubby. For reference, I am a curvy 5'6", 148-152 lbs...

I ordered the blue retro style when I first saw it. I hoped to wear it to a wedding. I wear a 12 and ordered a 12(although Boden runs somewhat big on me). I couldn't even get into it; it felt about 2 sizes too small. Loving the fabric so much I ordered a 16, thinking it would be just right since the 12 ran SO small. But the 16 was swimming and taking it in was not an option. I was sad to return it and hope that the blue print will be used again!

I loved the way this dress looked online and loved the Harbor Forties Floral fabric, but as other reviewers have mentioned, the fit of this dress is just bizarre. I first ordered it in my regular size (8), but it seemed huge, so I returned it for a 6. The smaller one still didn't fit at all--huge on the top, but too tight through the hips. I was so bummed because the fabric is beautiful and the dress looked like the perfect casual sundress for the summer. I really hope Boden reworks this dress for next summer.

I sized down to a 2 US in this dress and while the top is a little snug, if I got a 4 (my normal Boden size) I would have been swimming in the dress. For reference, I am 5'9, 125lbs, and a 34D.
The print is great, albeit the dress length is a bit long. However I am keeping it because overall it fits ok and I am in love with the print.

I got the harbor floral which is so cute. Very Hawaiian look to the fabric. The dress actually looks like it is well constructed, but the fit across the bust is a bit strange. The whole style makes it feel less casual - not comfortable enough for me for weekend wear.
