I have never felt claustrophobic while trying to take a dress off before this dress. I was so excited to get this dress as I was wanting some new summer dresses that could also be used for work in the summer. But sadly, I dont think I will ever be able to wear this one. It was seriously traumatic trying to get it off. At Boden, I wear a 2R and have 5 other 2R dresses, and I have never had this problem previously.

I loved this dress, looked great with my red hair and blue eyes (the navy/coral/white version), but it was way too tight. So disappointed! I usually wear size in Boden, but wished I'd ordered a 10 but they're sold out. Oh well :((

This dress is beautiful. I did not notice that the skirt in linen. I can't do linen. It looks terrible after sitting down one time. No matter what. The skirt doesn't not look silky smooth like in the picture. It wrinkles. Even on this awesome, totally flattering dress that I will now return. Boo.
I am a 6 - 8 and the 6 fit nicely.

I love the combo of linen and knit. I got the pewter and the color is nice and muted, understated and not over the top for work, but not boring. Only thing is the that the skirt is pretty tight and while it's not especially hard to walk in, it would have been MUCH better if there was a vent in the back of the skirt.

I bought the Poppy color in a 6Long (I'm 5'6, about 130 pounds) because I wanted a little extra length. Length was great, went just past my knees, and the top fit well, but the ribbon waist hit me in a weird spot and made my stomach look like it was bulging out. An 8Long might've fit better but I think would've been too baggy on top. The design around the neckline was also strange and I don't think it would wash up well. Also, the skirt is fully lined -- I wasn't expecting that. A bit heavier than I thought. Bought it for an outdoor summer wedding but it's going back.

I really wanted to like this dress. The fit around the hips was snug. The dress probably could have been taken in a little for me at the ribbon waist. If the linen bottom had a little stretch, I think it would have worked for me. The neckline/bust was not a problem even though I am a 36D.

When i got the boden catalog i got so ecited about this dress. seemed perfect for my pear body. I am not sure exctly why but the fit was just not right. I ordered two sizes - my regular 2p fit great at bust but too tight under chest and the 4p was all over too big.
Also the bead looked a bit strange (did not line quite right o the body).
I do love the idea of this dress, but this specific one is ging back.

As others have mentioned, if you pear-shaped, this is the dress for you. I was in awe at what it did for my figure, and the design is so unique. I was a little worried that the top may be too clingy but it isn't, instead it skims from top to toe. Had no problems with the zipper or the sleeve, though I've yet to do anything than try it on. I ordered pewter, and yes, it's not quite summery in its color, but it didn't seem to matter, the details and fabric made it feel great for the office or even for a wedding if you pair it with a hat! This is good stuff.
