this is a beautiful soft dress, easy to put on, and drapes beautifully. I got the dress in the heather color with the heather tbars to match in a size 6. The neck is low, so I wear a shirt underneath. The lightweight jersey does not seem to cling and drapes nicely. I do wear the shirt underneath though and silk effects nylons so not sure if that is making a difference. What drew me to this dress is the exquisite embroidery at the neckline - and it is absolutely exquisite! The dress is very simple but the embroidery makes it special and dressy, but not too dressy that it can't be worn for something casual. In short, perfect.

First, the crochet makes it a very special dress, though you can wear it and adapt it (with shoes and accessories) to a variety of situations. Secondly, it is very soft and has a great drape, and yet, it is more substantial than you can see online. The French Blue is a lovely, deep blue, almost navy. I have thought about getting another in the Heather color. The neck drop is pretty (not quite as deep as some other Boden dresses), and the sleeves are flattering even to my larger arms. The 8 fits me well (at 5'4', 150 lbs, 37-30-39, athletic build, but still somewhat overweight). I find the Boden clothes to be of superior quality in general, this dress included.

This dress is gorgeous, so feminine and classic. You can dress up and down. I love the color: it is exactly at it looks online. I choose the below the knee version and it is very flattering. It was my first Boden purchase and I am very satisfied; I have been using since, several times.

This dress is absolutely perfect. The fabric is beautiful and the fit is exactly to size. I love that it is casual but can also be dressy with the right shoes. I am going to buy another one in a different color! This was my first ever Boden purchase so now I am hooked!

I bought this dress in a size 12R in herb. I typically wear a size 10 but in the past Boden dresses have shrunk on me, and I wanted to have an easy-going fit that would hide my flaws (tummy, hips). So far it has not disappointed. The color is really cool and could definitely be dressed up or down, and will go with everything. The neckline detail is subtle but sophisticated. The dress has a nice drape and thickness to it. I could have maybe gone a size down but we'll see how it does after it washes. Overall a great buy!

I absolutely loved this dress for the first two times I wore it. The fit is great, and it's very comfortable. The third time, however, I spilled a few tiny droplets of soup on the skirt of the dress, and rushed to get a cloth (a dark-colored one, mind you!) to rub out the stain with cold water. To my horror, after a few minutes, large white spots appeared at the location of the stain. Only then did I look at the fabric label, and it said "do not rub stains." Really? How else is one supposed to remove stains? So effectively, I paid $[$] for a casual dress that was ruined from normal wear and tear within 3 wearings. In my mind, that's a bad design. This was my first Boden purchase and will probably be my last, too.

Anytime I wear this, people are ogling! It doesn't matter whether it's casual with a pair of flip flops or dressy with a pair of heels. This dress is flattering, sexy, cute and lovely! Thank you Johnnie for offering it in tall sizes because I would be very disappointed if it wasn't. I am usually a size 4 in most American clothing brands but tall at 5'10". This dress is so versatile! You can wear it with casual flats to dress it down. Add a nice crocheted sweater for a bit of pizazz. Wear heels and add a nice wrap for dinner out - or a jacket and heels for work. I ordered a 16R in Charcoal and it fits wonderfully. Feels as comfy as my nightgown. Love it!

I absolutely love this dress! I am a size 6 and I may have a hard time finding the proper under garment for this dress. Every buldge shows. If it wasn't for that this dress would be absolutely perfect!
