I ordered the navy/coral dot pattern and I love it. It's a tad longer than I would like (I'm 5'2.5", so most things are) but still very cute and work appropriate. It's so soft and comfy it feels like a night dress and very wrinkle-resistant, perfect for packing in a suitcase. I get a lot of wear out of this dress. It can be dressed up for work or dressed down for every day by choosing different shoes and accessories.

I just received my dress and wore it shopping, mowing my lawn, weeding, planting mums and back shopping....all in one day! It feels and looks so darn good I just did not want to take it off. I had so many compliments!! I am putting it back on tomorrow and going to the farmers market, Vet and a party later. Will wash it and wear to the Burger Barn Sunday. The best buy you can make.

I bought this and the casual jersey dress to compare, and i'm returning this one; the khaki spot has pink on it, and it's far more noticable in person than online. I'm just not a pink person, so that did it for me. The casual jersey dress is more fitted, so it feels more polished. This one is comfortable, but i have the Fun dress in the same color and they are cut quite the same. If the other colors were at the same price i'd likely give them a try...

The second I put on this dress, I felt pretty--and the mirror told me the same thing. This dress fits and drapes beautifully. Its style is versatile enough that I can wear it casually on days I just feel like wearing a dress, as well as for slightly more formal occasions. I tend to dress by uniform; when I find a style I like, I buy it in several colors/patterns, and then call it "done" for a few years. I really hope that Boden will bring this style back again next spring, in other colors, so I can buy a few more! Here's my fit information, in case it will help anyone else: I'm 5'8" and 120 pounds, 34C, and the 6R was a perfect fit and hit me right at the knees. I also ordered the 6L and will return it, as the extra length wasn't needed and the fit around bust didn't seem quite as good.

This is a very cute dress, very comfortable everyday dress. I bought the green dots, it looks much brighter in real, it really looks nice, I dont know why not many people choose this color, but I am really happy that I bought it. Also, I am SOOO HAPPY with the Petite size, I am 5'1" tall and 106 lbs, 32c cup, the 4P fits perfectly. Thank you Boden for thinking about us short people too, PLEASE BRING MORE PETITE! MAKE THE ESPEN JACKET PETITE SIZES TOO! I'd buy one!

I bought this in the navy shadow spot. The print is lovely. The fabric is thin and stretchy, like a nice light t shirt, yet remarkably, it does not cling (or if it does, the patter disguised it.

I will be returning this dress, however, because of the pleating under the bust. It's a good idea, but somehow it doesn't work. instead of the pleated fabric flowing smoothly down and disguising the mid section (and after having twins, I do have a problem tummy!), the fabric sort of curves around and emphasizes the belly, and somehow even creates a bulge above my own natural belly bulge. It's not terrible, it's only from certain angles, and a jacket or cardi would probably distract or hide the problem. But for me, for the price, I want something I like. Not "I like it if..."

It's possible a size up would have worked better. I'm 5'2", 135, and I ordered a 6P. I'm slightly pear shaped, so if a dress is free in the hips I go with a 6P, structured I ordered an 8P. Perhaps if I had the 8P in this and had more room in the hips, the pleated fabric would have had more room to hang freely? I don't know, but I didn't love it THAT much to find out.

Finally, it doesn't really look like it does on the model, or perhaps the model is really small-busted. On her it looks like there is extra fabric billowing around the bust. Also, the length. I'm 5'2" and the 6P hit right at the middle of my kneecap. A great length for work with heels.

By contrast, I bought the "casual jersey dress" in 6P and it is PERFECT; no maternity look, looks like I lost 10 pounds, compliments galore. And now it's sold out in my size. But, I'm glad I have one!

I completely agree with the other reviewer who talked about the way the model looks in this dress. This dress is way more flattering on. If I had based my choice on the way it made her chest look, I would not have bought it. "If it doesn't look great on the model, why would it look good on me? Right?!?" Thank goodness for the reviews!

I'm about 5'11, 155lb post baby body, 34D, and in Boden clothing a pretty steady size 8 with a few exceptions. I ordered both the spot patterned dresses in an 8L and they fit perfectly in all areas. Length comes to about mid knee-slightly past. Bust area is a lower v-shape but does not show any of my cleavage or bust fullness in the center...maybe only a slight view if I bent over far enough. The dot pattern did not contort, stretch weirdly over my ample chest or make it look larger as another reviewer noted...and I am very self conscious in this area. I understand how some would be unhappy with the small amount of ruching in the front center but it doesn't make me look pregnant. It just keeps it from being "tight" or completely smooth against my upper stomach. The material is also an incredible jersey fabric: lightweight yet substantial feeling that drapes nicely.

The fit could be compared similar to the casual jersey dress...especially with that front area some dislike. Owning both of these dresses though I can easily say this dress is more flattering and could be worn in a work atmosphere. When I showed my husband both of the dot dresses to decide between, he said that I should keep both since he liked them so much. I can't really comment about the durability yet since i haven't had them that long but have no complaints so far.
