I really reviewed the measurements of the garment before I purchased this because I have been so hit or miss with Boden (mostly misses).

I usually wear a 14 in a non-Boden dress if it is a-line, but my bottom half is easily a 16 (top is 36-38C). I purchased this in a 12R after reading the dress measurements and it fits PERFECTLY!

With a bright cardigan and kicky sandals it will perfect for work in the summer.

I ordered this in the herb chic spot pattern. My regular size (4) fit perfectly. I really liked the fit, the cut of the dress. The ruffles were nice, not to much and just enough to add fun flair. I ended up returning it just because the pattern/colors did not look good against my skin (white, light brown hair), even though I really wanted the cute polka dots to work. I looked washed out, and something about the pattern/colors made my face disappear. I would try it in a solid color, but they don't have a color that I like. Thus ... I reluctantly returned it.

The dress is made of a heavy (in a good way) linen and beautifully lined. The skirt has a bit of poof to it - too much for work but perfect for a date night. The neckline is modest.

Cute dress, I did not think it was overly matronly as one reviewer stated. (But I am a Mom so what do I know?). Fit nicely in the bust and under the rib cage. Very comfortable. Part of me could have done without the ruffle though.

I bought tunis dress in white and it's been so once and comfortable and easy to dress up or down that I just added the lavender spot to my cart! One can never have enough comfy dresses!

Love this dress! It is perfect for casual events and can be dressed up for more formal affairs. Being a petite frame, I normally have difficulty finding clothes to fit. This was a big success. Have already worn it to one party and received many compliments.

Ordered this dress in herb in size 4R (my regular dress size) and love it! No need to worry about bra straps. No need to worry about armholes either. The dress hits right on my knees (5'4").

I especially like the fabric: soft, right weight, and comfy. I usually do not like ruffles round the neck, but ruffles on this dress makes me look at least 5 years younger :) I guess the V neckline helps. The dress flows nicely when I walk.

the dress looks matronly. It looks more like what my grandmother would wear to clean the house. I ordered the olive dress, and it looked discolored at the seams, as if it was worn. Certainly it does have some linen, but it doesn't look like it's 100% linen.
Nevertheless, it was loose under the bust to the hem of the dress.
I wounder if I should have order one size down. I didn't want to exchange it after how it fit ...

Ordered this dress in the herb, which turned a bit darker than I expected, but beautiful. I love that it's a simple dress, with that Boden A-line that suits my figure, and jazzed up with a pretty ruffle. Just right for dressing up or down. The linen is a good weight, substantial without being too heavy for the American South, and I love that it's lined.

It was perfect for my first wearing -- an outdoor summer evening wedding in south Alabama -- cool and elegant. I dressed it up with Boden's Embellished Sandals in gold metallic and a sparkly necklace. Even my mom said it was perfect.

I had high hopes for this dress after reading a positive review. Sorry, this one too has a waist band that looks like it came out of a dress pattern fit for a child. Frumpy if you aren't 8 and I'm not. I wish for the slim, trim and flattering dress and skirt designs of Boden 2009 and 10!
