I don't have a lot of maxi outfits and I was excited to own another one. It's great to travel in them and so comfortable. When I finally got it I hurriedly went to try it on then I was so disappointed to find the maxi I was sent is 34 inches long! I don't where in the website it came from. I ordered the 4P in pewter and the length is supposed to be 47 inches long. I tried to call customer service but due to the holiday I have to wait til after Xmas. I am very unhappy when I checked that 4P in this color are gone. Of course, it just have to go back.

I was hesitant to order a maxi dress, being a shorty, but I love this. I got a 2P in poppy (red) and it looks great! I got so many compliments - I felt pretty and the color even made me look more tan than usual. It's comfy and looked great with a bralette (a smaller sports bra type top). I can't wait to wear it again! It is shorter than other maxis I've tried on, but that's a good thing because I didn't worry about stepping on the hem. I am about to buy another one in the asparagus color right now!

I love Boden clothing, it has great quality and beautiful details. But it never fits me - until now. I'm only 5' tall, so finding a maxi to fit me is quite he challenge. I was skeptical, but based on the previous reviews I decided to give this dress a try. I initally tried my usual size 4P, and it fit except it was soooo tight in the bust. It was super lowcut and gave me Renaissance Fair serving wench cleavage. I wear a 32DD bra, but I can usually wear a 4 with no problem. I was disappointed because the dress fit beautifully elsewhere, even the empire waist, which usually looks awful on me. I exchanged for a 6P and kept my fingers crossed that it would not be too big or too long. It's still quite low cut, but not nearly so tight in the chest. The length is perfect, hitting just at the top of my shoes. I love the fabric, substantial but flowy at the same time. I tried both the green and the pewter, but ended up returning the green because I wasn't fond of the pink in the print. I'm still going to need to modify the neckline so it won't be quite so low, but overall I'm very pleased with this dress and can't wait to wear it.

I bought this dress a few years ago and decided it was time for a new one. The only complaint I have about this dress is that it runs short. I am 5'6" and in this I needed a long. I originally ordered a regular but had to return it for a long. The long is the right length and I'm looking forward to wearing this a lot more. I'm not sure why the dress go shorter, but the ones I have from a few years ago are the right length.
I also like that the top is snug so it doesn't gape open.

Honestly I debated about this because I'm only 5'1" and I don't ever do long dresses, but thought I would try it since they are the "in-thing" for summer. So glad I did! Super comfy & beautiful colors (purple print). I am 127 lbs and got the 4P and it is just about perfect (just a little tight in the chest and I am only a B). Received so many compliments - wore it to drop kids off at preschool and to the grocery store! I did add a nude color belt to it though to make it a little more fitted at the waist. Don't want to take even a little chance of looking pregnant!
