This dress is one of those things you can throw on and just feel cute and put together. I wore it to work and received many compliments from colleagues, then wore it to the symphony after, and total strangers were giving me the 'I love her dress!' look.

I did feel like it was a little bigger than I expected. My normal 8Ls have been feeling a little snug lately, so I ordered a 10L, but it felt way too big and I ended up sending it back and reordering the 8L, which is perfect.

I ordered this in a 4L so it would hit below the knee. I am 5'4" for reference. This dress is so gorgeous. Feels light enought for cool summer nights and heavy enough for fall. I am pairing it with navy blue wedges.

I have been considering this dress in the Dark Navy/Parchment for months but didn't buy it because I wasn't sure if I could pull off such a sophisticated look. Well, I decided with Boden's great return policy I couldn't lose so I ordered it. I'm so delighted I took the plunge! This dress manages to look sophisticated and effortless at the same time. At 5' 5" and 34B-26-34, I went for the 4L - the fit is spot on and the length is just slightly past the knee which really works well for me. (I don't typically order a "L" in Boden dresses but in this case I did thanks to other reviewer's comments.) The contrasting band of fabric hits just under the bust as shown on the model and not at the natural waist. This helps the dress flow beautifully over any figure flaws. The fabric is a soft knit and the design and quality are top notch. Truly, this is one of the most flattering dresses I have ever tried on. Can't wait to wear it! I needed a simple, classic black dress and this fits the bill perfectly. Modest enough for church or work but can be dressed up for dinner out. Fits extremely well and very flattering. I am 5' 7" and decided to order this in a "long" which hits at my knee - personally I found this a more flattering length than the "regular".

This dress is genius. Get the tall size if you want it closer to knee length. The combination of a modest v neck and carefully placed stripes, in addition to the flowing knit of the fabric, makes an imperfect figure picture perfect.

I bought this to have a simple black dress, to wear casually, or to dress up with accessories. This fits the bill perfectly! Very comfortable, stretchy so I can move and not feel restricted. I ordered a size down (they were out of my size) and it fits with plenty of room.

Well... Normally I only order Mini Boden for my son (3), but this dress looked gorgeous. So I ordered it in two sizes so if I loved it, I wouldn't miss out on it. I am a perfect size 12 normally (6ft tall), and the length is what had held me back for a long time. I haven't received the 14 yet, but the 12 seems just a tad too small with no leeway for cotton/wool shrinkage. The line under the bust rides a bit too high, and sure enough, it's above the knee- a huge departure from my normal maxi-dress preference. I hope the 14 is enough bigger that it rides a bit lower. I also think, while well made & beautifully designed, it would look more elegant about 4" longer, just below the knee.

I am somewhat pear shaped and the style is very flattering. The stripes look great and the sleeve length is very flattering as well. I am 5'9 and weigh 145 lbs and the size 10 was perfect.

I have worn this to work and out for a date night and have received comments in public from friends and family and TOTAL strangers admiring the dress.
