I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know how well it will re-shape or how quickly it will show any wear and tear.
My one complaint would be that the pockets should either 1) not be there b/c they distort the way the dress lies on my hips, or 2) sewed in better so that they stay forward and flat.

I ordered one size down which worked perfectly. Love the color (eucalyptus). I wore this to work with black Boden leggings and the brown Grainy Nubuck Boots. My husband really liked the ensemble. The fabric is soft and warm, perfect for a chilly early spring day.

Love the color and the quality of the dress, but had to take it in by A MILE on both sides to get the look in the photo. If I'd ordered down it would have been way too short, and it still is shorter on me than the photo. (I'm 5'7" and ordered an 8.) If you are like me and really wanted this look, go for it. It's super cute and as good for weekends as it is for work. The robin's egg blue feels so right for this time of year.

I gave this dress a shot because I loved the color and I've had good luck with their merino blends before. It was simply not flattering. My husband doesn't care a bit about clothes, and he wrinkled his nose at it. That said, the eucalyptus color is gorgeous. The fabric is gorgeous. The dress was huge everywhere, and the belt only made it bunch oddly. I would not recommend if for anyone with curves (I'm a curvy size 8) or who dislikes being mistaken as pregnant (it would be great for maternity, though). I'm not sure how it would work on a stick skinny figure (still, order down a size, maybe?).

Wish I'd seen a photo of this without the belt. It is MUCH fuller than I expected. There was too much material to belt attractively on me. But without the belt it looked too maternity. It looked nicer when I tied it back, but then I'd be sitting on the pockets. This will be going back. I'm sad, because I love the lightweight knit. The fabric was exactly what I was hoping it would be.

I would go a size smaller then what your Boden dress size is, this is what I did (after reading reviews), it fits great! I really love the color and you can dress this up or feel comfortable just wearing it anywhere. Really cute, now I just wish I could buy some more Boden items ... so many cute items, so hard to choose:)

Soft and durable material good enough for bare skin, easy to move around as knit dresses tend to be, which is important for me as I move around a lot. It has pockets too, which is a big plus. The eucalyptus is easy on the eyes while still speaking spring.

The self-belt does have the tendency to make material gather irregularly around the waist/hip, making them look bigger. A leather belt would be an excellent alternative. The trick of making the original belt work seems to be fabric arrangement- keep more fabric in the back, less in the front, and make sure nothing stays on the sides creates a clean silhouette that's at the same time forgiving. Overall, play with it a little bit with accessories and you will find this a nice and highly practical dress.

I was a bit worried about my order when I read a bad reviews. But I immediately loved this dress when it arrived. The texture is soft and comfortable. Usually the knit sweater/dress makes me itchy, but this one doesn't. I ordered Navy and it looks good on my skin color. This was exactly what I expected. You can wear it for casual, work, or even some special occasions with nice accessories. Must have for Spring!

This poor dress is getting a bad rap and deserves to be redeemed! I will say I did purchase a size down based on the reviews but I find it to be fabulous. The knit is actually nicer than I expected, it is quite sweater-like and very soft against the skin. I think the style is flattering and very versatile thanks to the tie waist (you can sub your own belt too). I ordered the eucalyptus and it is a rich beautiful color that goes with tons. This dress is a great blank canvas for jewelry and scarves, which can completely change the look of the dress. I think it looks great with leggings and flats or tall boots, with tights and heeled boots (or even just heels) it can go a little dressier. When the weather warms it will work with bare legs. If you get the right size, this dress will be a welcome addition to your wardrobe. And at the sale price, don't miss it!
