I loved everything about the dress except for the fact that it goes in on the sides similar to how a shirt tail would look. Big Bummer. Had to send it back. It dresses the look down way too much. If you aren't concerned about an office dress code, it could possibly be overcome. Ended up being a deal breaker for me...

I'm keeping this dress because I love the (purple) color and the linen material is comfortable. But I feel like the "shirt tail" hemline is unfortunate. I also wish the waist of the tall was a little lower.

I bought this dress for work. I like that it has a thicker feel to it so you can wear it from the spring to fall. The pockets being so far in front are a little awkward, but I don't really plan on holding anything in them. The sleeves are also just a touch too far past my elbow, but when I un-button them, I don't have any issues.

This is a really pretty dress. I wore it with boots and it looked really cute. I have also worn it with capri leggings and sandals and that worked. It is linen so gets wrinkled easily just sitting down and walking around, so it looks a little more casual as a result. I am 5'4" and 133 and the 6 was perfect. Love the purple color. The only thing I would change is the pockets in the front but they are barely visible if you don't use them.

First of all, I love boden!! This dress fits great! I purchased the nice navy color, and found that it fits me both on the top (I am larger busted), and bottom! It is soft and comfortable, and holds it shape well. It's dressy enough for going out with my husband or friends, or to church. The only reason I gave it four stars was because the first one I ordered had some faulty stitching. When I called to make the exchange, the 10 R navy was no longer in stock, so I ended up getting the 10 L. I wasn't sure the 10 L would look right on me (I am 5'6"), but the length works great with this dress. Thanks, boden!

I ordered all three colors. The Navy was very dark and the details didn't show up as much as they did in the violet and green. I particularly was surprised at how heavy this dress was. It is beautifully made and I believe will last for a few seasons. I have a small frame with an undefined waist so it looked a tad boxy on me, if you have a bit extra on your frame, this will suit you nicely.

I really wanted to love this dress. I bought the sweetpea color, and it's a nice material, fit me well, and was very comfortable. The length was also just right and fell just above my knees (I'm 5'4"). Unfortunately, the puffed sleeves made me look awfully matronly and about 10 years older, so I'm going to be returning this dress.

Oh, this dress is lovely. The fabric, the lining, the pockets, the ruffles... everything is just great! I ordered my usual Boden dress size 12 (based on my bust meassuring 39" and hips 43") and it fit both great! Unfortunately, the tie belt hits my torso at just the wrong spot, and makes my hips look even more huge. The shirt tail hem is cute, but it's more trendy and a less classic detail, if you worry about that sort of thing. Since the style just didn't flatter me, it's sadly going back.

I got this dress in the Moss color and am greatly enjoying it. As with most Boden gear, it feels well made and classic yet fun. I love the practical touches like usable pockets and a nice lining- things that are rarely found in many modern clothes. The dress is so well made overall that it could be very dressy were it not for the shirt-tail style hemline that curves upwards on the sides quite a bit, which was a bit of a surprise. It makes it much more casual, which is a bit disappointing since I bought the dress for work and it's now a it shorter than I try to wear to the office, but it's still super cute.
