I purchased a Navy size 6, but returned it for a Pewter size 4, and am very happy with my choice. The slubby fabric in navy looked like denim to me, which was not at all what I had in mind. The smaller size was definitely better, too, since the A-line shape skims your body, and is not form-fitting. (For reference, I am 5'10", 140 lbs, and a 34A.) My only regret is that I didn't get the 4L since this little number is definitely short! Still, I think I can get away with it, so am keeping it. Easy little dress to throw on for church, work, a day running errands, etc. The only problem is that it really wrinkles up when you sit in for an extended period of time, but that is to be expected with linen.

I bought this dress for a wedding rehearsal and I couldn't be happier. I had a baby 7 months ago and, while I'm also down to by pre-baby weight, I still need to tone my midsection. This dress is very flattering. I'm 5'6", 140 lbs and I ordered a size 8. It has plenty of wiggle room.

usually wear sz 4 so i purchased the sz 2r based on many reviews saying to size down. A mistake. the dress is tight around my butt, fits ok on top half. i have hourglass shape btw. Hoping they restock so i can try the 4. I havent had much luck with Boden dresses but i really love the more tailored look of this. this dress is right up my alley. the reg is a wee shorter than i would have thought considering i am 5'2. it hits a couple inches above the knee

I've been looking for a classic shift and was sure this would fit the bill, but it was a little shapeless and plain. I'm going to try to make a few alterations and see if accessories don't take things up a notch. My husband likes the notched neckline, which gives the dress a nice design element.
