Pretty dress. More shiny than I expected, but still ok. I love it with a brown belt and assorted shoes. The shape is a little bit baggy, so I think I will wear it a lot during my pregnancy.

I loved this dress online and ordered both colors. Both colors were pretty and the beaded, embellished detail at the top was very nice - quite sparkly without being tacky. The silk fabric was much thinner than expected - almost tissue weight. Unfortunately, the shape of the dress was terribly unflattering on my body. The dress seemed to be cut straight up and down (no shaping at the waist) and quite voluminous (lots of fabric). It looked slightly "tent-like" without the belt. With the belt, it just got "puffy" around the middle, which was not flattering either. On the right figure (maybe slim-hipped), it might work really well, but it didn't suit me at all.

I really wanted to love this dress, but it just didn't work for me. It felt way too big and the tie didn't help cinch it in at the waist in a flattering way. For me, it was one of those dresses that looked better on the rack than on me. Sadly returning it...

I had a lot of hope for this dress. Alas, it has no shape. I put it on and it was like wearing a potato bag. Adding a belt made the dress too short (I'm 5'7). It is very narrow at the bottom, which makes moving around difficult. It's a shame because the beads on the collar are beautiful.

Based on other reviews, I ordered a size down and took a 2 rather than the 4 I normally take in Boden dresses. That was definitely the right size, as it fit properly through the shoulders, bust, and arms, but nothing could save this dress from being baggy and shapeless. I tried the dress both with the self-tie it comes with as well as a different leather belt (as shown on the model in the stock photo) but to no avail -- it honestly looked like a maternity dress. Back it goes.

On the plus side, the material is gorgeous, the color is beautiful (the gray, which looks a bit purple -- it is really a lovely color), and the sparkle embellishment at the top is very nice. But the fit did not work for me.

I LOVE this dress. I was taking a chance when I ordered it, however I am so glad I did! My boyfriend walked in the bedroom right after I put it on and he absolutely loved it! I am planning on wearing it to a wedding. I ordered a size down which worked perfectly. I am 5'2, 120lbs (ordered size 4). The silk is so soft and good quality. I couldn't be happier.

Beautiful dress. Size 4R was a little short for me ( I am 5' 4" so I ordered the 4L. Lovely neckline and nice fabric. I plan to wear it often and perhaps with a belt other than the self tie.

This is a cute dress, looks really flattering on, however, I am sending back because I was worried about the durability of the fabric. It's made of really delicate silk and it felt like it wouldn't take much to ruin the fabric. With 2 kids and a dog at home, it wasn't really practical for me.

This a "dressy" dress. I wore it to a wedding party and substituted a stretchy belt for the self tie--which made a big difference. It is a very pretty dress---love the color.
