I like this dress a lot. You can wear it to work with a neutral sweater or jacket and let it stand on it's own for going out afterwards. The one downside is that the fabric is a bit thinner than I expected and prone to pulls.

Great dress. I am 5'11" and usually wear a 12/14 in Boden. This dress ran a little large, so I returned the 14 and kept the 12. Great lining, fabric and overall design. I think this dress will not lose it's appeal season after season, so it's a keeper for sure.

Had to order a smaller size (6 instead of 8), because this style needs to be fitted. The fabric is a bit like upholstery, but if you're fashion-forward, you'll appreciate it's uniqueness. In spite of that, it's very pretty for special occasions.

This dress is awesome. TRUE to size. I am 5ft 6in, approx 140lbs and wear size 6 at Boden mostly. But occasionally size 8. however in this dress I am a 6! hope this helps.

My sister-in-law wore this dress on Christmas Eve and I just loved it! The gold threads made it look so festive, there was no need for jewelry. She paired it with a purple shrug and she looked totally glam but in a comfortable way. I ordered it as soon as I got home. It's a perfect dress for the holidays.

Fabric is a lovely black/cream/brown tweed with a metallic thread running through it which makes it a little more dressy than the usual office dress, but I plan to wear a fitted black or camel turtleneck under it so I can wear it to work. The dress is fitted; I usually wear a Boden size 4 in tops and 6 in pencil-type skirts, but was able to squeak a 4 Long without too much pulling across the hips (which a pair of control-top nylons fixes), and the bodice and waist fits like it was tailor-made. I am 5'7" and the 4L hits right at the knee. Very happy with this one!

I ordered this dress in a 4R because I have other Boden dresses in that size that fit great. This fit me everywhere but in the belly area. It didn't seem to fit me right and made me look like I had a pooch in my low belly area. The dress seems to fit the model in the photo differently. I am in love with the look and will try a 6R, although I'm pretty sure that size will be too big on top. I'm disappointed. The dress is beautiful!

I wore this to work with a plum colored sweater (like the Boden model), with black tights and black boots. I got a million compliments. The gold thread running through the fabric is pretty bright. I will just leave the sweater off for dressy wear. The sizing is loose; but it looks good that way. I felt totally in style.
