This dress is so easy. There are no fasteners at all, it just pulls over the head. Yet it has some shape and tailoring. It's totally layer-friendly. The heavy fabric makes it good for 3 seasons, despite the short sleeves. It can be dressed up or down. There is no pattern to be concerned about matching or clashing, the dress goes with everything. The price is right (on sale) so I don't have to worry about hurting it. I just wish there were more colors left! This is a winner.

I tried this dress in PLUM and, didn't think it looked good on me, also,
it was too short and too fitted, you need a super flat stomach for this, like model's in photograph, I am still working on it since I had my son:), I also agree with another review that the red "trim" didn't look very "expense". Probably navy and grey are better choices no wander why they cost more. I got different dresses from Boden I am totally in love with; therefore, I will not try this in different color.

I got this dress in plum to wear to a friend's wedding. The fit is great, though not quite as fitted in the waist as I would have preferred. I feel like the dress gets hung up on my hips a little and pooches out in the middle (though my friends assure me that's all in my head).

Otherwise, it's a cute dress and very comfortable. It has a nice stretch to it without being too tight. I love the plum color and the vermillion lace it a great contrast. The good quality of the fabric surprised me.

I got this dress is purple and it's really nice. Fit is good - I am typically size 8, but lately with Boden have gone with 6. Got this is in 6 and it fits great. Then length is right at the knee, and i can wear it to work.

The details of this dress are outstanding. Also, the dress washes easily and I was pleased that the crochet trim laid flat as well. It fits up top but is slightly big at the waist, but still works out okay.

This dress is wonderful, a very flattering fit, great fabric that drapes beautifully.
I ordered the Petite size first but found it too short so re-ordered in the regular which hits just above the knee.

I ordered this because I needed something that was a dark/winter color but not actually too warm so I can wear it in a warmer climate. It's perfect for the occasion. I read in the description that it was knit so I was concerned it would be too clingy or shapelss. but it's a thick fabric with some body that is flattering rather than magnifying. It also has shaping darts so it looks great. I can imagine wearing this to work, dinner, certain events.

I loved this dress but had to send it back. I am 5'7" and it was just too short. Unfortunately, they were out of the long. I wish they had shown a picture of the model standing up. I would have been better able to judge when ordering.

This dress did not interest me initially. I thought, "What's the line going down the dress?" When the dress was put on sale, I decided to try it. Got the bright pink one. It is fun, stylish, yet practical. The fabric is of substantial weight. No problem with the neckline being too low. Great design with clean and simple lines, without a belt, ruffles, folds...etc. 4 starts instead of 5 - Something about the trim material and the feel of it isn't quite high quality. Not a deal breaker, though. The fit is true to size. 5'4", 125lbs and 4R was perfect.
