This is a follow up review. Turns out I really love this dress. I have it in a plaid, also tried it in the solid but felt it was just tooo much of that not-so-great- color all over. Would love to see it in a heathered peacock or some color that is less sallow. But am really looking forward to next year and hope they bring back the exact same style in other plaid and color choices. Classic but a little funky (even in the Long which I recommend), amazing quality construction and wool. Not cheap in any sense, sale price helps!

This item is super cute. It makes me feel young, in a good way. It's the type of item that feels cozy to wear, yet has a dressy look to it that one can wear to work. It's a bit snug/ form-fitting, yet it doesn't cling to reveal all of one's flaws.

Maybe this is how this dress is supposed to fit, but I found it too tight in the bust and too loose in the hips. I'm keeping it anyway, because it's such a classy, well-made dress, but just a word of caution if you're trying to pick between sizes.

The quality of this dress is incredible and the fit of the 4R was spot on. (My measurements are 34/26/34.) But something about the design wasn't flattering. I think the neckline was a bit too high for me. It looks truly lovely on the model but not on me. Unfortunately, it's going back.

I love this dress. Currently I am a snug US size 18 to a very loose US size 20 and 6ft tall, with a smaller waist and bigger hips. This dress fits me perfectly. There is ample room in the bust area. It hits above the knee but isn't too short to wear to work with cute tights. It's well made also. The fabric is nice to the touch it isn't itchy like some tweeds. I got the orangey brown color but I'm thinking about getting it in green also.

In Boden I wear both 10s and 12s. Based on reviews I ordered the 10L and it fits perfectly -- almost too perfectly as there is little room in the hips. But I prefer that to shapeless. At 5'7 the L is better for me, skims the tops of knees. Quality fabric, nice plaid a bit different pattern as one would expect from Boden.

I got this on sale in the green color and it is lovely. The green is a little richer and greener (rather than yellow) than it looked on line, really nice. It looks great with a black turtle neck. The dress is nicely shaped; it could have been a little more tapered at the waist,but it does have a nice shape. I usually wear an 8R and this fits me perfectly. The wool is beautiful quality, lined and well finished. I love it!

The dress fit well, the green color was lovely. However it stopped at the mid thigh so was too short for me to wear comfortably. I was also not sure what I would wear under it.

I almost didn't order this dress because the picture; the real color of the dress is apple green or some would call it avacado; in any case it a beautiful green not the yellowish green they show in the picture. I'm 5'8 and a 36 inch chest; the 4L fit me perfectly; most of the time I'm a 6L. The dress is well made and very comfortable. I gave it 5 stars because I love everthing about this dress.

I bought a second dress when they went on sale!It is amazingly flattering. Shifts can be difficult for me because I'm usually a size larger on the bottom than on top-but this is great. If you are more balanced I think it would still work but I know it's great for me. The dress makes me feel put together and still easy going.
